Post details of your last run and what you think of it
Wow, congrats to all who put in a mahoosive one over the weekend!
Put in my longest for a while yesterday. 8 miles. LogYourRun app stopped at about mile 1 though so the 1hr30 isn't prescise and may be a minute or two either way - but it was about 11m per mile.
I want to run the half I've signed up for in sub 2.20 so need to pick the pace up a touch over the longer distances, but I'm confident I'll get there.
Oh, on a lighter note part of my slightly slower time was because at about mile 4, when I was furthest away from anything resembling a public convenience, I had an overwhelming urge to use the toilet - and not the sort you can stand at the side of the road to do.
So there was a two mile stretch of bowel controlling running and a stop off in Asda!
Matty, that's happened to most of us at some point. The odd LSR i've actually carried loo roll with me if i've been feeling a little potentially leaky before I had out. Can't hold nature back if she wants to make herself known!6m recovery run today, 1.5 with the dog. Lovely morning, almost light for the whole run, sun peaking up on the horizon and the ground had a light frost covering (not seen much frost this winter, plenty of sub zero nights but not a lot of frost cover as a result. Bit odd). Very nice running conditions.
Mon 1.00pm - woodland trail with Fudge - very easy pace - good to run with the sun on my face - no idea of time or distance - purely run for the fun of it
happy running all
Love that Neil was the first to reply to Matty, what with the surname

Ha ha!
6 mile recovery run - I dream of days I can do that!
Ha ha! It was actually me, every so often I accidentally log in with an old profile that was a registration gone wrong. Yeah, i've had all the jokes about "got the Trotts" etc but in recent years, Laura and Jonathan have done wonders for the family name
Whereas you're new alias is far less relevant
nice scatological theme. Always good to see on MLR
3.6 miles for me tonight. Hard to fit much in during half term. It's surprisingly cold out there
4M steady yesterday and today. Okay runs.
6m steady today. Very cold but clear skies and still. Nice running conditions again, getting too used to this...
Yup, lovely morning here too for a daybreak run.
Intervals for me this morning. 6 x 1km at 7min/mile with 1 min recovery. The splits got progressively quicker too. Last one was 6:40. Nice to start to see some improvement again - it had all seemed to plateau for a while. Got a half next weekend that was scheduled more as a training run but may test myself a bit on that!
@Nessie - I needed a dictionery to understand your post. Impressive dirt vocabulary!

extra solo track session at Battersea Park to make up for humiliating result at Parliament Hill xc.
Pyramid intervals: 400, 800, 1200, 1600x2, 1200, 800, 400 at target 10k pace (4.25m/km, 75secs recoveries). Enjoyably tough.
Where's your half Dunky?
Bideford
I've done it twice before - it's a small but well organised event that takes in the Tarka Trail and even goes through a tunnel - choo chooooo
Hello to all MLR fans. A bad cold, moribund central heating and a recurrence of a tweaked calf have all tried to stop the Streak....but they failed mwahahaha
15 minutes is about my limit atm - I know I should stop, rest & get fixed but.......
9 mile GA run tonight.
Tue 10.30pm - 5km woodland trail - steady
one of those long drawn out days at work (7.30am - 8.30pm) - couldn't resist a late evening yomp with the hound - lit fairly well by the moonlight - refreshingly cool evening - always a treat at the end of the day
push on everyone
