Congrats to everyone for their stuff.

Very tiring 17.5miles off-road. A bit muddy here and there. 2hrs30. Saw a couple of deer. Absolutely knackered.

Very tough 10m LT today (6m at HM pace).  Dry and cold but with a stiff breeze today.  Probably a little too soon after the HM on Sunday and my legs were telling me off a bit.  Much needed rest tomorrow.

On and on.

Good work everyone!

Been away for the weekend but didn;t stop my 9m long run on Saturday, at a pace faster than I expected, to the point I think I might reassess my upcoming half target time.

Did a cheeky tempo 5 round cardiff yesterday too. Though my leg are feeling it today.

Good work JT - that distance off road is tough!

Intervals this morning for me - 15 x 400m at 6:40 min/mile with 1 min recoveries.

Felt good at paced it well.

A slight relapse caused by wanting to rest but not give up the Streak   Easier this a.m., so I ran for 15 minutes without undue reaction.

Did my first ever run based on heart rate yesterday. 2.4k at 140, 150, 160, 170 and 180 with 90 second rests in between. It went OK, and I think I'll start doing it once a month in order to monitor progress.

4 miles tempo through the muddy forest this afternoon.  Great. I've just realised I've got just over a month til my HM, so I'd better get my arse in gear for a proper LSR this Friday

long day at work - but still had to get out for a loosener to blow the stresses of the day away - always works

I was so tired yesterday, only managed 3.5m. managed being a loose term anyway, there was some walking in there as I had a stich on both sides of my stomach and my right leg shin muscle (I'm not sure of the actual medical name) - only the right leg - hurt like a mother f******.

Cue a hot bath and 2 early nights before my next run on thursday.

Wed 11.00am - 8km woodland trail (garmin free)

lacking any zip today but enjoyed the run and the spring sunshine was a treat - so still had a smile on my face

4 mile club run tonight.  Sabotaged by one of the women having a really nasty fall and smacking her face on the pavement.  Really nasty one so I walked back with her

Nessie. That sounds terrible. I hope she's OK.

First run last night with my club in about 18 weeks following my injury. Nice steady 7.5 mile. Great evening for running. It's nice to be back.

club run in central London tonight for 16.6k at 5.02m/km (which actually sounds better in imperial - 10miles at 8m/m)

the best news is that, according to a clubmate, there'll be enough light to start the Hampstead Heath evening runs again in JUST SIX WEEKS. getting sick of pavement!

Nessie - Ouch!  I winced reading that.

12m GA this morning.  Legs still being slightly rebellious but got through it.  A very cold, frosty late winter's morning but nearly all the run in daylight.  Thermometer read -3 when I got back, brrrr. The local climate is not yet ready to yield to spring, that's for sure.  March tomorrow - happy days.

Yay for March! Bring on the spring.

5 miles easy for me this mornig as a mini-taper for half on Sunday - I put in 2 miles at HM pace, mostly to ward up a bit really!

Rest tomorrow, then an easy few miles on Sat pre race on Sunday. Not sure how hard to run it as it's part of mara training really. Any advice seasoned Spring mara runners?!?
