If you rub doc leaves on your legs before you run does this stop the nettle stings?

Does anyone know a good cure for stings??

I have tried creams and doc leaves and am still itching 14 hours after my run.

Ooh I got stung on my hand whilst out last Sunday, and it was sore for days!
