I've signed up for the Milton Keynes Marathon and I'd like to complete it much faster than I did the Budapest Marathon this year. In practical terms, the closer I can get to the 4 hour mark, the happier I will be.

I'm allergic to dogs and I have 2 a lab cross and a greyhound, you kinda build up immunity to your own, just watch what breed you go for!

I'd just like to get back into training after a very long break - if I do then I'd like to set a new 5k PB (currently 22 dead at Richmond Park parkrun).

Early this year I decided to restructure my exercise regime as alternating running and rowing machine days. The rowing is a good non-impact workout on non-running days. Three of each in a week and one day off.

So no explicit resolution as such, just a wish to continue my current routine because it is working so far - I'm injury free and running well.

And also to enter one (medal-bearing) race a month on average throughout 2013.

To enter my first race in 2013.  I will do it!

Coming back from  an enforced 6-month break after a hip replacement operation, so -

Have entered Tri-Pfalz Olympic distance triathlon in May and am aiming to finish in 3 hours.

Have entered Challenge Vichy half-Ironman 1 September and aim to finish under 6 hours.

Get my running speed back.

Do some open water swimming races.

Oh yes - and I will continue to eat peanut butter straight from the jar!

I want to be more selfish. I spend so much of my time looking after other people and making sure they're happy that I'm really not doing myself any good. I'm thinking of taking up a team sport, joining a choir and taking my swimming a bit more seriously. I'd like to get my sports nutrition business up and running properly too! I will also continue to eat peanut butter straight out of the jar

Eat and drink less and get a sub 5h at the London Marathon whilst carrying a Giant Teddy called Trev

@santas little tiger - what breeds would you avoid? I'm worried about getting one and the allergy being too much. How long did it take you to become tolerant?

Get Abs by spring!

Run Chester Marathon in a decent time and having trained for it properly.  My days of not running  much and turning up to run a marathon on about 11 miles are done. I'm starting early for Chester!

Stay injury free for 2013, having missed most of last two years due to cartilige and achilles problems, and with luck complete all 8 Lakeland Trail events.

Finish my first marathon (Berlin in September), get under 45 mins for a 10k and smash my fundraising target for BHF of £2,500.

Sounds easy enough when typing it...!

1000 miles in 2013 and complete my first marathon

Not given up on a sub-40 minute 10km some time, though a lot of work to do!
