Nike + Calibration HELP!

I recently got a Nike + but the first couple of times I used it realised that the mileage/times were out. So I tried to calibrate it tonight. Drove a mile and then ran in with Nike + when I'd got the mile marker stopped the calibration only to be told I'd only done 0.42 miles. Decided to re run the measured mile and this time the Nike + said I'd only run 0.32 miles.

Has anyone else had the same problems, and if so do you have any advice.

I'm using a first generation ipod nano with the sensor for the Nike+ in a shoe pod.

Not sure I can help but were the times that far out with the factory settings, before you calibrated?

Mine was wrong because it was recording kms, even though set to miles. This was a known fault corrected by a software update though. It sounds like yours is more wrong than that. There's a forum for this sort of thing which might help, either via the Nike or Apple website, not sure which. Might be worth doing a search unless someone on here comes up with an answer.
