The biggest warning sign for me on this thread are the phrases 'run twice a week' and 'non-responders'.
Why oh why must people always look for some 'scientific' name or reason for the slightest thing. They don't want to just have a sore foot, no they want to go to their physio and find out they have Metatarsalgia. Got a pain? Don't wait a couple of days to sort it out, go and ring a physio and get a massage so it feels like your doing something, and then when the physio tells you to rest it for a few days, you'll know thats what you should do because an expert told you to, you could never have used your own intelligence to have rested it.
My point being, instead of looking for some excuse, why not 'try' other options instead of giving up at the first hurdle? If I was the OP, I would have thought, you know what, instead of running for 2 days a week, I might try running for 4 days per week for say 3 or 4 months, and see how Im getting on. Then if you still for some reason didnt improve, then maybe you can look at other reasons but 2 days per week, no change in routine and then wondering why nothing is changing ........ really???
And OP if you are reading this, this is not a personal attack on you, just generally stuff I see on this forum where everyone always wants some scientific name given for their ailment or condition. Its the defeatist attitude I hate the most, instead of just sucking it up and getting on with it.
