It worked ok for me at 1am, Littlest Hobo.
Got it sorted. Pheww.
The ballot closed around 10am, which is earlier than other years. Was it the Mo Farrah hype this year and the lovely weather on the day? From the ballot thread, there were a lot of problems with the website at peak times due to the high numbers trying to enter. Glad you got it sorted in time, Littlest Hobo. Now the long wait.
Thanks Paul. As far as I can tell I'm eligible for a Good for Age spot. But I've never been through that process before, so entered the ballot too, lol. It paniced me a bit that the GFA application isn't open until June.
I don't see what they close the ballot at a cap at all, or at least such a low one. A ballot is a ballot no matter how many people are entered in it. It's all still lucky dip.
I think it's much harder for men to be honest Leslie, I'd just to get a sub 3:45
3:45 is a bit easier all right but that's the rules , too many men applying I guess .I wonder how many applied for London probably at least 5 times the amount of places at a guess.
On with the training for me , 22 miles today was sick last week and my legs were like lead after about 15 miles but done now.
