Yes everyone got to tell you that although he still officially holds the record he's out to smash it.
He will be in Selfridges on Oxford Road- some town called London from Friday at 4pm.
He is aiming to beat 137.6
All support if you're window shopping in the area will be welcome.

Sorry Benz I was not very clear he has to cram as many miles as possible into 48 hours on a treadmill, he did the last one in Asda- but he's gone upmarket and is in Selfridges this time.

He's not the fastest of runners- but he does keep going, and going.
I will be getting updates on his mileage over the next couple of days so I will keep putting them on.

Does he walk too?

hi all, paul shields, 'The Yorkshire Running Man' here.Monique will be updating the mileage throughout my run on this page, so keep looking in to check up on my progress. The actual world record is the furthest distance covered in 48 hours on a treadmill, to which i am the world record holder at 137.6 miles, i hope to go quite a bit further, but not too far, want to save something for next time, i will be actually running in the front shop window of selfridges, so will be pretyy hard to miss, come along and say hi if you are in the area.

Hello Paul.
Benz he does spend some time walking- and completed some of the latter miles last time in slippers as the heat from the treadmill belt had made his feet swell.
