AFTERNOON ALL

just recovered after last nites bender went out for a meal & a good drink purely medicinal a pick me up

PR5 NO RACING FOR A WHILE only training to much pain for racing & i can't risk getting elbowed& you lot would all kick my butt
did 6.5 miles yesterday @ 7.47 ave 2 miles @ 8.16 & 8.29 really embarrassed to admit that, but i will keep plugging away going by that i guess brecon 10 would take me 1hr 30 so you buckleys of a chance to see me there
yes i do put a pillow under my ribs, but don't use painkillers as i think they only mask the problem & if i hurt my ribs i would rather know about it

FM yes mate i'm jinxed it could only happen to mecan't see any lite @ end of the tunnell it's been a anus horribleus 2010 so far

JD are you out there would like to kick off my LSR weekendsgive me a bell if you can i left my number on your mobile

FL the question you asked me is no to BRECON

28/07/2010 at 13:38

MM61 YOU SHOULD NOT RUN IF YOU ARE PAIN As i said in my text forget about LochNess and get yourself fit again..............Do you want to carry on running for a few years or just do Lochnesss, because if you carry on as you are you can kiss the Vet 50 awards goodbye, because you will be wrecked

JD is in north wales

My 3 runs were short but pain free

28/07/2010 at 17:05

Afternoon all

MM61 - Don't be afraid to take pain killers at night to help you sleep. You are right about masking pain.... but that's what you want at night to mask that pain!!!! Go for it

May rest up tonight... but itching to have a run if only a small one.....

28/07/2010 at 17:09

MM61 looks like your going to heed my advice on sunday

PR 5 talk some sense into him

28/07/2010 at 17:15

PR5  i was thinking if i take painkillers i risk sleeping on my left side & doing more damage

MM  i'm only asking the lads a question,i did not say i would def meet up just a maybe

28/07/2010 at 18:55

FM, managed to get just under 15mile in. felt like crap at the end. You were looking good when we met. Are you not doing Brecon with us on Sunday?
28/07/2010 at 19:24
FM b4 i commit myself to sunday how slow is slow as i'm not the runner i was when i last trained with youthe last post i read you ave 5.58 thats way out of my league, but i don't want to spoil your run,put all the hills in you want
28/07/2010 at 19:29

mm61 last sunday run was 15.5m with hills at 7.55pace nice and easy like i said

FL no brecon for me i am doing the 5k in cardiff on sat

28/07/2010 at 19:43

FM yes i can manage that i'm pretty crap @ the moment,so will let you know in good time if i will join you 9am is fine by me any chance of us not going ofroad as my ribs can't handle the jarring, but as i say it's your run & i don't want you altering it to suit mei'm starting to sound like a whimp, don't mind where you start from it's only 30mins to get down there
