Evening all

MM61- umm, shouldn't you be thinking of doing 16-18 at least this Sunday?? Oh are you tapering too

8.11m for me on the track tonight- track was to keep it flat and easy on the joints (I'm tapering, you know). 3m easy 7.00-7.30 pace, 2.5m @ 6.12 and 2.61 easy again. Funny old game this running lark-for  the "easy miles" my felt like lead and for the MP miles they felt easy and light. It was tempting to keep going at 6.12! Must be a good sign, I reckon.... Chicken jalfrezi and basmati rice tonight

03/10/2012 at 20:06

JD err!!!!!!!!!!   no  not tapering yetjust trying to get to the start with damage limitation
thats why i can't run a true recovery run 8 to 8.30 pace i find harder than 7 min pace
nice running & jalfrezi is my favorite

MM61- I normally find it easy to run slow- just do a few 100m weeks and you'll get the hang quick enough But, got to say, 6.12 pace feeling like a jog is a new and pleasant feeling- sure it won't do after 20m though
