Park run done and dusted in 20.36,great freindly atmosphere,wish there was one by us

NR wise choice by you,Snowdon is more important for you at the moment.

MM- Well done. There's one in Aber- I'm going to do some come December, if you fancy a lift

JD the only time i can go to Aber in Dec will be for the 10k problem is park runs are Sat which is awkward for me.

Long run for me last night and I ran out of steam at 14 miles, walked up one hill and shufled the last few miles back home after that. Snowdon will be fun I have to say as no marathon ever goes better than training. Considering my training has been sh*t I fully expect to have a torrid time

Also taking the fam*ly so I will have already done the swim and bike by the time I get to the start line

Just wish I was running like I was running last Jan / Feb. It all went wrong in London and I still have not got the flow back yet.

Alex, I'm sure it will come soon enough.We all go through peaks and troughs....

Still, glad to see you're getting the excuses in early

The recovery continues here- left glute still a bit tight, but managed 12.01m in the sun this morning in a steady 1.24.06 splits: 7:22 7:28 7:15 7:09 7:07 7:05 7:06 6:45 6:47 6:45 6:40 6:35 2 Off to do some more stretches now Hopeful that it will have loosened off by Saturday- ready for me to inflict untold damage from a severe hill bashing....

Great race at the gwents today,managed to get there with minutes to spare after 245 foggy stop start miles,despite that great fun and as always amazing atmosphere,i was quicker than last year aswell but not sure if the course is same measurement
