Morning Shame about the marathon,but i think its miniscule compared to what has happened out there, as one guy said on the news this morning we are still finding bodies and people are worried about a marathon.

Afternoon,still stuck in work but nearly finished heavy cold showers here,was gonna go for a run but cannot see it happening somehow
Roast chicken dinner for us
run done only just thunder & lightening with hailstones turned white in seconds followed by blue sky just shut the front door now hailstoning again its baltic out there
run 3.30miles meant to do 3 but miss judged it
staying indoors till 5am monday,rest and ale time now
well we got the lot here thunder lightening hailstones,but i don;t care wine ready curry started cebtral heating on just waiting for mrs to come home so i can lock the door till monday

having a couple of glasses of ouzo to start the evening off
went, but not for long. Plan was to do a 4m warm up then 4m tempo and 1m warm down. Did the 4m warm up before deciding to wait a bit longer before introducing speed again. legs feeling good, but don't want to push it Think I'll do 12 easy tomorrow
Had a big shock today- went to Halfords to get replacement headlight bulb, to be told that I needed a xenon bulb which they don't stock and would cost me £90!!!!!!!!!!! . Checked online later- i DON'T need this bulb for my car, and can get the bulb I DO need for around £25
Sweet and sour turkey and wholegrain basmati- with a glass of red. making the most of last chance to have a glass of wine for a bit....
JD why on earth do you need to do a tempo run so soon after a marathon.......

MM61 well done on your run ,never thought i would say this but glad you have got some common sense.

Very wintry out there.
Rest day for me. Visited friends and parents. Chicken salad and trifle for tea.
MM enjoy the holls i will take the compliment but i wont be doing much more b4 feb 3 to 5 miles max

MM61 - I don't usually go for trifle but my mother seems to like it. Anything to keep the peace...
