JD - was a bit unpleasant running but glad its done.
Enjoy the rest MM61.
You may be right there MM.
Salmon, steamed veg and noodles. Lots of garlic
just got over last nights sesh
lasagne & garlic breadwashed down with some medicine
NR- good to see you today and well done on a cracking run!
MM61- how's the head?
I'm going to pick up a takeaway curry in a bit, but deserve it after a busy day. First, the mudbath in Builth, fell over when I sank almost to my knee in a mud filled hole, but didn't hate it quite as much as normal. Still no good at it though! LOL!.Then a nice run along the River Wye while I was there. I would have liked to have explored further, but didn't want to be left in Builth by the tem minibus! Then a nice leisurely run this evening as it was such a nice evening. Total of 16.5m for the day
JD - good to see you too. It was a tricky course today. Very muddy so was pleased to stay upright and get 5th lady. Are the results out yet? Well done on all the other running too.
Nice tea MM61. Turkey with mushroom risotto for me.
JD - I fell whilst warming up!!!
Any one going to Aber today?
NR- Think MM is going. You?
Don't forget the flippers for the area around the sports fields Might need a snorkel too
the mighty LED ZEPPELIN last night thes old geezers are still up there with the mighty FLOYD
have a great race in ABER 10K
NR you were odds on to fall yesterday
JD well done on yesterdays race and the long run too, head is good hamstring is notso still resting i am missing the racing but never miss the training
MM- well done for Aber 10k today. The fact that there were 22 DNFs in a 10k race has got to be some kind of record!
MM61- glad to hear you're resting. No point in anything else- especially this time of year
16m done and dusted for me. Same route as last week, but horribly strong and cold headwind on the way back saw me run the same route as last week 1.38 slower for the same effort (if not more). Plan was to run the last 4m at around 6.30 pace, but I couldn't get the last 3m heading into Burry Port below 7.00 miling! 1m warm down to finish, so 17 for the day. Splits for the 16 tell the sorry tale: 16m in 1.52.47 (7.03 av) 7:19 7:10 7:05 7:11 7:10 7:11 7:09 7:04 6:48 6:53 6:54 6:47 6:46 7:01 7:19 7:00
Mackerel pasta for dinner in a bit
JD nice msr again i bet you take the same stuff has lance armstrong who's charlie
MM still a decent time for your age ,but a 100 mile round trip and dark when you get home is too much this time of yr if you want a tea & a slice that bad then make your own cake & put the kettle on
