Griff - Congratulations! Well done on your 1st marathon. Hope you are enjoying a nice relaxing couple of days now. I hope your drive back was ok too? Well done.
Great running by everyone over the weekend - well done all.
I had a busy weekend - ran and walked a lot. Managed 3 walks, a gym session and a 12 mile run yesterday. Shattered now!
Weather looks changeable this week - some rain forecast. The garden is crying out for water - it's bone dry.
Afternoon all Great running Griff on your marathon debut, you trained hard and got the results, chill for a while now Taper time for me now, still cold out there glad the long runs are over.
LTS- well done on the busy weekend
6.4m recovery run here- nothing else today. I hate tapering Mackerel and salad for lunch. Gammon, egg, mushrooms, tomato and laverbread coming up
GN excellant mate bet your over the moonand a well deserved sesh last night
LTS rather busy weekend therehope the garden stays bone dry
GN - its a great feeling. When is your next one?
MM - taper is good. Not long now.
MM61 - hope you stay injury free ready for the big day.
JD - I like mackerel
LTS - Excellent training. Its cold out tonight. Lets hope it gets warmer soon.
Anyone doing Swansea 5k series?
Turkey, jacket and salad, yogurt
GN - once you start, you can't stop!!!
Have a good one all
Morning, not such a bad day after all
Griff - hope your legs and feet recover soon. All the pain is worth it - nothing beats the feeling of completing a marathon. well done.
Struggled running yesterday - had no energy. Hoping to get out for a few at lunchtime...just got to think 5 days time & I'll be on the plane to somewhere hot & sunny
NR - I may do the 5k series. I prefer the Fusion 5k series in Llanelli and would like to get a couple of parkruns under my belt, so will see.
JD - that rocket & salmon is becoming a habit for you yep, this wind is rediculous now...am trying to do all my outbound runs into the wind, so it is quicker on the way back!
10.41 m with 10x100m strides thrown in in 1.16.34. Wind was awful- and running into it on the way back, LTS.! Followed with a session with the medicine ball So, that's it for running today???
JD - well done for the 10+ miler. Wind is harsh again today. I managed 6 slow earlier. What sort of things do you do with the medicine ball? We have a few in our gym & I'm not quite sure if you're meant to lift them, twist with them or what...?
MM61, MM, hope your tapering is going ok?
Afternoon. Nice running JD,yes it is still bloomin windy,no real sign to an end but it is slightly warmer,or should i say less cold. LTS taper is going good,it means i can go back to my old ways of being lazy, but i did manage 6 miles this morning. NR yep planning on a couple of the 5 k races, lets hope its nice and warm then, theres a great atmosphere down there if its a proper summers evening. must get under 20 again this year.Done the first 5 k of Teifi 10 in 20.50 so should be around 20 on a proper 5 k.
GN be careful the marathon is very addictive i'm on 56 marathons and i hate them
LTS he has had so much fish his guts is going in and out with the tide
MM i'm doing a 5k race tomorrow if your interested
NR can't shift this knee trouble so looks like i will have to race with it

JD - I love fish too. Tomato and courgette curry, brown rice and peshwari naan
LTS - this weather affects us all with running. As you say, soon you will be in a sunnier place.
MM61 - sorry to hear about that. Sometimes its mind over matter.
GN - you'll get there
