I'm running the New York Half Marathon at the start of August and have just found out that it begins at 7am! Any tips on pre-race food without the need to get up rediculously early!

I half shouldn’t be too bad in terms of energy levels. On the week before a big race i start a taper and eat lots of veg and fish etc. Then the night before a nice bowl of pasta. On the morning about two/three hours before i have some porridge and just make sure i am well hydrated (but not too much). Good luck
