I was trying to be helpful to Sean G. but could not help as team running in the armed forces is something that I have never had anything to do with. Just being an old hippy everyone should know the hippy philosophy, "make love not war."
LWJ, I am fine thank you except for sciatica. How are you. Organising races as you will know takes a lot of work. I would like to suggest that a lot of these runners who run for a running club get involved and help out with the organisational side and not just leave it to the same few. "Many hands" as they say.
