Route recommendations in New Forest

I'm going to Hampshire for a few days after Christmas, and would like to include a run in the New Forest during that time (hopefully see some ponies  ) - does anyone have any route recommendations? Anything between 6 and 10 miles would be lovely, as long as it starts near a carpark.
