running clubs in Glasgow - General running

Hi there,

I have recently moved to Glasgow living in the westend and looking for a running club. Has anyone got any advice or contact names/telephone numbers?

Would be grateful for any help

The Scottish Athletics Federation website (saf.org.uk) has a list of clubs, contact names etc.

Hi Louise,
I live in Glasgow (but away at the moment)and run with Mary Hill Harriers in Mary Hill. The coach is John Reid and his number is 0141 945 0161. It is a great club, I've run with them since moving up to Glasgow a year or so ago. They do mainly road sessions at this time of year and more track work in the summer. If you go along, they run on a Tuesday and Thursday night - say hi for me!
