just ran 44 laps of a running track in Rixensart (Belgium) today - madness you say, but here's the question.
how far is a lap in lane 2? i had to run in that lane since lane 1 was greasy. can't find the info anywhere on the web.

Haven't followed that link but I did ask this question before. The answer seems to depend on the shape of the track - laugh ye not! I suppose the search engine might come up with the old thread, you never know.

Just measure the difference between the starts for lane one and lane two for the 400m, then multiply it by 44 to see how much further you have done than Lane 1.
