For the last couple of runs I've done I've run past a runner who rustles! It looks like she's got newspaper crumpled up under her T-shirt. Has anyone got any idea why she's done it?

V. curious ginger kitten!

Variation of Kleenex-stuffed bra, perhaps?

Is she a paper girl?

It's a v. odd bra then - she's got a complete layer under her T-shirt!

I'd ask her myself but I live in London and you know we Londoners never talk to each other!

Cyclists stuff newspaper up their shirts for descents to stave off a chill.

i dunno lil nemo, that'd be pretty impressive to me!

if she smelt of vicks then it was probably a cold she had though.

Oooh! I bet i know what it is! Some sad people wear bin liners under their clothes when they run so they can sweat buckets and when they get back from their run they can weight themselves and say "ooh, I've lost four pounds today, I can have some cake."

Delusional. Not to mention smelly.

And then they have a drink of water and - oooh - the "weight" is back on.

LOL LizzyB!

Of course if it was me I wouldn't need bin liners - I sweat buckets naturally!

Now, where's that cake...

Could be she is training for something like the Death Valley race and is trying to recreate as close to the environment as possible.

Does not help with weight loss though
