Just under 9 for brown saucers, but that wind is horrible.

6.2 miles cross country after rest day yesterday. What until midnight last night was soft conditions became glaur, mud and flood after a night of heavy rainfall. A bit like running in brown sauce I guess On a more positive note today was first time in three weeks my legs felt as if they belonged to me! (And it was fun slip sliding away-apart from the scary descents.)

JP - can you please translate "glaur"?

Just over 10 windy miles for red, best run for a while.

14 miles in a wintry wind and occasional snow flurries. Plenty of red sauce on my dinner afterwards.

YP- Glaur, (Scots, rhymes with 'for') as in "Aye ah can see yer in the glaur plantin mangroves" Your dog would have loved it!

26.2 done on Sunday in New Orleans for the Brown Sauce Brigade on Sunday. Recovery run tomorrow and then onto March catch up

KK - Would be good to have you back (assuming you're a no sauce person...hmmm...let's think about that) Getting back soon or are you majoring on deep philosophical debate for a bit longer?

Straycelt - Did it go to plan or was voodoo at play?!

I had a rest day today, but have just logged my runs from earlier in the week.  It still wasn't enough to catch the no sauce team with either group of sauce users.  Will have to try harder. On a personal note - doing well against my March target.

no miles today- work not injury. Comeback starts tomorrow
07/03/2012 at 22:27
9.3m for no sauce team, no wind, no rain, just darkness...

3.22 red sauce miles for me today, on the treadmill as usual. Hoping to get outside at lunchtime either tomorrow or Friday.

JP3, was certainly out to play, so much music, so many beers, so many pirates, so many witch queens but so little time. Recommend French St and Bourbon St. Went better than planned using new, forefoot running style as expoused in Born to Run. Knee held up and enjoyed the party in the park at the end. Highly recommend. Got traditional post marathon lurgy....must stop battering my immune system, still it's only a cold not real "man flu"

13 miles for the reds in the glorious Sun today!

Lovely day out there,

5 miles bagged for the red brigade.

5.69...1200 repeats on the track. Team no sauce into second place!

5 miles for the no sauce gang...
08/03/2012 at 20:48
Just the 6.39 sauce-free miles today- but it's a start and the legs feel good
08/03/2012 at 20:55
8.4 miles for me tonight, followed by Gammon, poached eggs and lots of brown sauce...

What a great day for running - 6.22 miles for he Reds - done over my lunch break - it was good to get away from the desk and clear the head - apparently the term in current use is a runch break - not heard that term before but perhaps I am just behind the times!
