Feel a little feeble claiming i'm feeling it a bit tired after a 6.2 mile run looking at the huge miles above but hit 70 miles now (target 60) so well pleased.

made the target (just).... been a bit of a quiet and niggly 3rd month.

Are we playing again in April.....?

18 brown sauce loving miles for me this morning - was meant to be 16, but got lost just after halfway!

This takes me to 195 for March (highest month so far), and means I've done just over 500 miles in the three months since January

I'd definitely be up for continuing this into April....

20 brown sauce miles for the "runner" formally known as Suarez! Last biggie before London and had a few people to catch on the leader board but more importantly smashed both my target and time expectations for the 20!

After my 20 miler yesterday; I kicked my ass out the door for the last time this month for a recovery 5miler... which turned into a new PB....  If someone can explain why I always run faster and better after a Long Run - i'd love to hear it!

36.97m in the Born to Run Ultra for Team No Sauce today! Do you get extra points for finishing first? No-one more surprised than me, believe me!!!

Jason that's amazing congratulations - just making it round that distance is a feat in itself never mind winning.

6.44 miles tonight to finish the month 101% completed after 100% of month.

Taper now ahead of next week's race.

jason d, congratulations, it's an honour to be in the same team with you I finished 19th in the 3 miles race last week and it's probably the closest I can get to the podium 108% of the march target as I'm in my first sort-of-serious season of running myself

Just for interest, here is a chart showing mileage run on each day of March

Clearly Sunday is the favourite day for LSRs.  Also enthusiasm seems to have dropped off over the month!

Are we playing in April? March has been a tough month to keep going and my enthusiasm did waver a little in the last week but kicked April off in style with my longest run for absolutely ages, 10.14 miles.

Well done Emmy_bug on a 5 mile pb, and congrats to Jason on your race win. March may have been tough but this thread really helped to motivate me.

Missed out on logging my last two runs - 5.28 miles on Thursday and a quick 1.5 XC fun run with the kids yesterday. I was well above target having achieved my highest mileage month ever! It was a definite cut back week though, having raced all 5 of the winter league races in my neck of the woods since January, deserved an easy one for a change. All ready to go for April though.....is the challenge still running?

Hit my target, but didn't enter my miles as been away for a few days. Now unable to

Sorry chaps, and chapesses, been out all day at mothers and her Sunday lunch has kind of done for me !!

Howver will get April up and running tomorrow if thats OK, and also open up the 'history' part so those last March runs can be logged.

Are we still keeping same teams ?

01/04/2012 at 18:21
ok Bruce , thanks....maybe have a change of teams for April?
01/04/2012 at 18:23

Cats vs dogs

I beat my March target (I was hoping to beat January's too but a chest infection put paid to that...maybe in April!) I have 5.8 miles to log when April's is ready to go.

01/04/2012 at 18:59
29 miles over my target for march so better raise the bar i think!

Thanks Bruce, you are a star.

I missed logging a run on Thursday, but seem to be able to alter the one for March 1st.

I'm sure Mr Puffy will be happy. He just sneaked past me by 0.25m... Without my Thursday run. Funny.

Ps Bruce some great mileage by you there, 168 miles for a tip top Manchester time in 4 weeks..
