NBR - congratulations on a PB....

15.9miles for me this morning for the brown sauce team, and I think there may be a couple more this afternoon as my 7yr old son wants to go for a jog around the park...

Come on Team Brown - we're in need of a big boost to catch-up.....

Got back from running the worcester marathon my first one and probabally not my last i found it very hard on the second loop certainly a lot hillier than i had imagined but quite happy with my time of around 3h 46 m

so finally added some decent milage this month for the no saucers with warm up 27.5m

Not walking very well at the moment !!

thanks chaps!

running goat - well done! I hope I will complete my first one in under 4 hrs once I eventually decide to do it!

Cheers NBR

 Well done for your P.B

I'm certainly very glad i did the marathon (don't think my legs are very happy about it !!)

when i decide to do another i will try a nice flat one though

Well done on the pb NBR, and well done running goat on your marathon. Very good time considering it was a toughie.

Easy 3 miles after work turned into a shit 3 miles with painful knee  Now have a click every time i extend my leg. Not a happy bunny as things were going so well. Will R.I.C.E and give it a rest for a couple of days and see how it is Thursday but a trip to the physio looks imminent.

Feels a bit quiet on here currently - I guess a lot of people are tapering ahead of VLM.

This probably helps explain why I'm currently 5th in this month's challenge

Good luck to all running on Sunday!

good luck to everyone on Sunday!! I've done my last taper run and feel GREAT!

How very odd, I always thought I needed my music to run, but just done 8 miles and found it easier without the music balring in my ears. Even managed a few hellos to people and enjoyed hearing the birds and kids playing. Only one week till the manchester marathon

Rebekah - that's how I noticed a woodpecker 5 yards away from me only because I heard it knocking the tree - this would never happened had I my ipod with me.

Good luck everyone running VLM, hope to see you here next week bragging about your new PBs

btw, 6.71 miles for no sauce team today

Page 2, on VLM day? Surely not! Hope everyone running got on okay out there.

7.14 miles, my furthest since 2009 - very pleased. Lashing rain at points and painful, but strangely enjoyable to boot.

VLM done and dusted- realised after 4m that the ultra was still in my legs, so went for enjoyment factor after 10m and had a whale of a time, dancing with the bands and chatting along the way. So normal walking today as an added bonus

Well done Jason - an enjoyable marathon (although for me that would be an oxymoron!).  I don't have my car at the moment so my 8 miles yesterday was to get me home from my Saturday night outing. However, I don't think I'm going to give up the car completely just yet!

My 7'ish miles on Saturday included a parkrun at Eaton Park in Norwich - much busier than my home parkrun, but nice to run somewhere different.

Was pleased to note that I'm 74% of the way to my target after 74% - must be doing something right!

VLM 3.42 on Sunday...noit bad although not where I wanted to be back in January and must accept maybe a step to far afetr a year out to come back for a 3.30. Greay day tho'

Been extremely lazy - no running for a week! Letting Team Red Sauce down badly. However, on the upside I have a 15 mile race tomorrow.

Good afternoon all,

have just caught up after having four weeks off with a hamstring strain. Started running again on 18th with just 15 minutes but have been slowly building up, just over 10 miles run this morning in the rain to bring my total up to 38. Because of my injury I've set myself a target of 40 miles which I should reach with a lunchtime run on Monday.

In spite of the weather it felt great to be outside running again.
29/04/2012 at 21:39
Dang it - the final run of the month leaves me stranded half a mile shy of the target. 99%! Still a record month, though thanks again Bruce!

Just logged last week's runs - even with a sneaky 3miler I only got to 90'ish% of my target - however, it was always going to be a stretch in a month that included 3 weeks of school holidays - my running routine goes out of the window when the kids are home.  Back to normal for May, so back to the mill to try again.

Glad to see others still target setting and getting the miles in.

Is this 'The End' or are we having another bash for May?

May as well keep it going now, eh?

Witty repartee....I like that.

I'm definitely up for keeping it going, I feel quite bereft tonight not being able to log my run.

How's Bruce these days?  *whistles nonchalantly*
