Parkrun with Mrs JR and the three JR juniors. I ran with the youngest (and he was first JR family member over the line. Don't think he'll let his older brother and sister forget this in a hurry).

Parkrun done, lots of muddy puddles  JR junior spent most of the run trying to get me muddy!

Had to limit my running last week as I began to feel the effects of worn trainers!! Completed my second run in my new running shoes this morning. I definitely noticed the difference (it's partly and age related thing!)

Well done on your recent runs JR, hope you enjoyed the mud

Happy runnings

Happy runnings everyone

I'm lacking miles a little this month but been aiming for a decent 5k (for me) and finally went under 24 minutes today. Ran my local parkrun in 23:41, a pb on a trail run!

Very pleased with that and a sub 50 minute 10k the target in a months time.

Sounda good Just Run. Always good to get a PB

Im currently training for a half marathon at the end of August. I did one a few weeks ago and got 1:43. I was disappointed as my PB is 1:39 from November; however, on reflection I realised my mileage was pretty shocking and it was my 2nd fastest time over the distance, so was happy.

I've now upped the mileage, but am suffering from calf pain, but only after 6-9 miles does it kick in. Got a sports massage booked for Monday and I'm going shoe shopping today.  I'm hoping that new shoes might sort things out as my current pairs have been on the go a while - think the newest pair was January, so they must be nearing 4-500 miles each.

Easy 3 yesterday. Tempo run tonight. 5 miles in 41:59, hoping for a sub 50 10k in 3 weeks time. That run has boosted my confidence
