<span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #333333; font-size: 10pt;">You guys should probably concede now to be honest, and save yourselves further embarrassment

<span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #333333; font-size: 10pt;"> We are absolutely steaming ahead!

Oi Poots..... Sling your hook, skedaddle, do one....

If I do that, and log my "skedaddle" won't that just put you guys even further behind?

(by the way, I am actually properly jealous of your smileys.  Though I s'pose you don't have *bunting* , which is a shame)

14, very wet, miles today.

Poots - For somebody who's making such a big song and dance about their teams performance, your not exactly setting the roads/trails alight for them in mileage terms are you? Maybe your injured, if so I apologise, otherwise shutit, funny the first time, but its getting old fast

I'm a bit grumpy today, but comments like that, gloating (even if humorously intended), get on my nerves when repeated.

Pootle "For people that are members of a site called "Runners" World they don't seem to do a lot of it, do they?

We are absolutly thrashing them at the moment, it's almost like we are Italy on Sunday night innit "

You are welcome to join me for a weekend of running... you will double your mileage for the month so far

Afraid I'm out of the challenge. A couple of off road races have left me worse for wear and the physio has now imposed 2 weeks of stretching, rest and jaunts on the bike to let me hopefully heal. Been battling on with lower mileage for 6 weeks to no avail. Here's hoping this woks!

Good luck Clag - hope it does work, and that you're back to pain free running soon....

Likewise, Good Luck Clag

11 for me today. But that's probably my last "long" run of the month, as I've entered Bewl15 on 1st July.

22/06/2012 at 13:38

Good luck Clag.

7 recovery miles, wet again!

22/06/2012 at 13:43

Is everyone playing nicely now?????

Clag - patience and rest - know how frustrating it is - but hope it works!

10 miles for me today, but having realised I've a 10K race next Thursday (had forgotten about it!) that's probably the last long one for me.

22/06/2012 at 13:50

5 slow, heavy legged, damp recovery miles for me today.... Legs feel washed out, which is a slight worry given I've got a 10k race on Sunday.....

Still - a day's rest tomorrow and then we'll see what's what....

22/06/2012 at 13:54

I am trying to keep up at least with the average mileage (the RW one not the Fetch's)

22/06/2012 at 14:16

BandT - Yep, I'm done biting cheeky fetchies for now

Clag - Yep, take some time off feet and sure you'll be fine (easier said than done).

YoungPup - Your doing great miles this month, nicely up on last few months so not surprised you feel a bit jaded. Sure you'll be ok for an days rest and recover ok from race for a few easy days on to your best mileage month of the year

Booooo I wasn't gloating, just having a bit of friendly banter.  Didn't mean to upset anyone

Lollers at Wetter is Better, I'll come along on a weekend run with you but only if you promise we can stop at Tesco after about 20 miles so we can pick up a shopping trolley for you to push me the rest of the way in

No upset here..... us Runner's World ites are made of much sterner stuff than that. Now begone with you!

Cheers DEoT (not sure how to abbreviate your name!?)

I'm training for a marathon in September, so this challenge is perfect timing for me..... I'm hoping to finish on about 220miles this month, which is over 20% up on my average for the last few months.

WIB - Enjoy the lakes, stunning place to run!

22/06/2012 at 17:41

Kathy - Fingers crossed, and thanks to a good push this week, I'll be over my target mileage by the end of the month. Can't do much more that that really - don't want to injury myself (again!!)

WIB - The lakes are beautiful - if a little hilly!
