Ouch Bruce! Hope that it gets better soon. That cant be nice.

I managed 4 miles last night and will try to get out whilst i'm away for 15 miles. Who needs to work, right?

Morning all,

8.4 miles for me this morning along the Thames Path - let's keep up the momentum early one and see if we can stop the Fetchies building up too big a lead....

Bruce - hope your ankle is feeling better?

03/07/2012 at 10:25

I have started July better than June

03/07/2012 at 10:27

@Youngpup - completely agree. July is supposed to be a big mileage month in preparation for my September marathon so let's keep up the momentum!

@JasonD - any ultra's planned in the coming weeks?

03/07/2012 at 11:05

Bruce - thanks! And thanks to the polite fetchie who posted earlier (sorry - can't page back to see who ) Well done to teh Fetchies for June - now GOOOOOO RW for the rest of the summer!

Logged a couple of short (3 mile) recovery runs for yesterday and today. Probably not a high mileage month for me this one. Targetting 120, but quite busy so may not quite get there.

03/07/2012 at 19:25

2.95 done just now. Planning 6 tomorrow, which will bring me back on target for 100 mile month.

WiB- oh yes....

Morning - a few miles clocked last night and a 10K tonight, don't think I'll be bothering the top 10 this month.

04/07/2012 at 12:17

oh, I am 17th - first time I have ever been that far up!

04/07/2012 at 14:27

Off the mark this month, 12.55 hills of miles...... sorry meant that other way around, that's just how it felt! Also, in continuous rain and overgrown wet foliage ripping my already grazed legs to shreds (got a nice gash on my thigh from a spiky plant of some kind I hit at full descent speed). Feeling nauseous after for some reason too and couldn't sleep half the night. If there was ever a case for a run to be worth more miles than it was  Easier run tonight more towards undulating end of scale I think.

Anyone would think you are training for something serious DE.

Well done everyone - the gap is quite a bit closer now, and hopefully we can keep this month competitive.

DE - your run sounds a bit easy, can you please pull your finger out and make a bit of effort please? Your team is relying on you, and all this guff about hills and foliage, and nausea and rain just sounds like an excuse..... Sort yourself out!

8 miles for me today, including 5*800 intervals @ 5k pace....
04/07/2012 at 18:16

10 miles yesterday and 14 today, got caught in a right downpoor for the last 4 miles I now have running shoe dye all over my socks.

04/07/2012 at 20:33

Another 10 miles for me getting lost in Frankfurt. Great city and it was such a nice change to run by the river... although running past everyone having a BBQ or in the beer gardens made me really hungry!

04/07/2012 at 22:04

Well done everyone- gap is tiny at the moment 15.5m for me this evening- weather was lovely

04/07/2012 at 23:23

6.23 earlier. Any hopes of good pace died whilst trying to run in swamp like conditions in road shoes. My legs found new ways to bend and twist today, degrees of freedom in motion I didn't think possible previously.
