11.44m for the day. Supposed to be 8, but got the missing 3 from yesterday with a bit of interest

Morning all, LSR this morning 12.28 wet, sunny, wet, wet and wet miles. Loved it!

12 gent;le miles in the sun. Very enjoyable.

Marathon done, over distance as I got lost, and probably about 7 miles extra sliding sideways in the mud, watch died though so I shall be a good citizen and claim 26.2.

20.5m here with 10 at mp in 20 degrees heat, so headed for an inland shady route- downside was it meant first 10m were all uphill. Great confidence booster as it happened

Top work guys. Only 8.13 here,"long run" of week 1 of mara training. Hangover well and truly gone .

North Wales Young Pup. It was cracking the flags until around 4pm! Good running all!

Badgers, Deer, Stags, Great Big birds of Prey and horses =10 points ( excluding Police Horses, so no running through riots)

Foxes , Rabbits, Hares =8 points (Foxes with actual white bit on tail like in the books =10 points)

Swans, Heron, Storks Pelicans, Parrots, exotic birds generally = 5 points

Pigeons, magpies, any of the Corvus famalia= 1 point each ( if in a flock count as =2 points)

No running through Zoo's, Wild Life parks etc just to get the pointage.

Is it a massive oversight of with all those exotic animals mentioned I can't believe you guys didn't see any sheep! Amount I've seen on my runs this year I could probably sleep longer than sleeping beauty if I was keeping count. Do I only score 2 points per field past of them? still about 1 million points

Logged my few miles for yesterday and today (10 in total) Looks like we may be falling behind already 

The ultra- fetchies have slung in a lot of big miles over the weekend....

It was Enigma marathon weekend I think... 2 marathons and an ultra or something like that over the weekend.

I have an ultra but not til the end of the month so that will help my mileage. Until then its just training as usual and a bit of a taper.

Jesus.. .the fetchies are getting ahead! Come on guys!

Wetter is better - how long is this ultra?... are we going to be moving up the table

Thats the way to do it Emmy lets all go out an get lost, boost our mileage 25%  (done this numerous times, not as easy these days though as I know all my local paths so have to travel for some good "lost time")

Lol - I'm glad that you can see the positive side of it  The local council are digging up all of my normal routes over the summer holiday so i'm exploring new routes... it's not all bad as I found a wood today... the only downside was running a little late for work!

There is no such thing as being lost Emmy_bug, its just a different route... Well done on the extra mileage too

The ultra is 100 miles (Well, 104 I think is the actual course length. I will ofcourse be accurate for the sake of the challenge here!) so will make a nice difference to my mileage.

6.23 done. Was down for 200m repeats but found the track full of school kids so switched today and tomorrows runs around.

8.95m last night, so soaked that took ofrf t-shirt for the last mile as I figured this would reduce my chance of catching a cold
