Gggrrrrr - my pesky job conspired against me today, and I couldn't leave in time to get the second run of the day in

However, I did manage to get 7.5 miles in at lunchtime, so all was not lost....

I was right- got VERY wet  2 runs for 11.55 miles. Oh well, it is my recovery week. Next 3 weeks should all be 3 figure weeks if all goes to plan.

Well done Jason! That's a fantastic recovery week!

I got a touch damp out on the trails too mate. 10 miles of hill work for me.

JD - 3 figure weeks? Never done one in training!

Blimey - taking out the two zero's means now it is really close.

Interestingly, the Fetchies have noticed that and are encouraging folks to get out there, which means now would be a great time for a mid-race surge....

12.5 miles for me today, 5 tomorrow, and then hopefully a nice 20-22 miles on Sunday am.

Come on Peeps - we can definitely do this!!!

I agree with YoungPup... they must realise that they're risking getting beaten.

Today is a rest day... maybe  followed by a 20 miler tomorrow and maybe a shorter run on Sunday.

I'm on a mini taper today and tomorrow for Lytham HM on Sunday.

12m tonight- and it changed our average very little..... Can we all commit to extending our next run by at least 0.5 to 1m? That will make a difference IF we all do it.... I'm supposed to be doing 8 tomorrow, I'll run twice and make it around 11.5

14/07/2012 at 10:17

6.05 . Which is parkrun plus wu/cd. 0.02 miles in it. May try and make tomorrows 11 12+ C'mon RW!

A 20 a bit very wet and cold miles for me...I was thinking about you all when I could choose to turn in at 18..... And thought "NO. The fetching can only win for ONE month!!"

Harden Hard'un, great event in West Yorkshire hills, moors and a good 26.6 logged

Its close between the teams now

Huzzah - right now we're in the lead!.......

14/07/2012 at 19:45

Everyone is doing so well that early on I cannot keep up with the average mileage.  I don't mind, though, you all go on ahead.

Nice day out in Hereford with family today-minstrels, jesters and knights everywhere today and loads of activities- including me and mini jd dressing up as medieval knights- didn't realise chain mail was so heavy! 11.25m for the day squeezed in either side of the fun- we're edging ahead at the moment

15/07/2012 at 09:06
Kathy H - you don't need to worry about forcing you mileage - its about doing what you can do

I'm just about to head out for a gentle 5 mile recovery after the LSR yesterday and then I'll add in my miles for the weekend.

Keep going guys! We're so close!
