RW v Fetch June Running Challenge

Thanks Bruce. Off to Majorca for a long weekend from 31 May so the trainers are getting packed for some holiday running!

I'm in.

Seem to have not posted any miles here for a long old time (is it possible to update old months?) but signed up for RW!

No idea on a monthly target however.

24o out there tonight at 9pm, hotter than a hot thing and not a hint of a breeze; 26o forecast for tomorrow night; and repeat until end of week.

Running has gone to hell in a handcart. 

June had better be a whole lot chillier or I doubt I'll be troubling the scoring board.

If there's a summer time equivalent of 'Bah humbug'.....that.

Aqua running?!

I love the sun, had enough of wet and cold runs for this year so will happily except the heat while we get it Despite returning from saturdays run after 3 hours in the sun with very red shoulders!

Hahaha, WiB - if you'd seen the state of me when I got home this evening you'd think I had been aqua running!  I really envy anyone who can run in this weather but it's not for me.

Any more people?

I'm getting a bit worried about the challenge. It may incur me actually getting my arse out of the door to run!

Me too, Emmy, I've had my worst mileage month this year so far, far too many days when I've wimped out because of the hot weather, like today fr'instance.

Ack well, tomorrow's another chance to start again with a blank slate.

everyone - here's to a good month of r*nning.

4.32 miles at lunchtime for me and Team RW. I'm hoping to styay injury free as I've set myself a target of 90 miles for June, having only just about achieved that in the last 3 months combined due to hamstring troubles.

Whoo-hoo - I'm in at no2  (for all of 5 minutes, I'm sure!) 
Will be a quiet week from me leading up to Dartmoor next Sat, though  

Oh crap - I didn't even make 5 minutes!  

I'm in but on a no running week due to marathon last week.  I cycled today..

That's right, BandT - you set yourself a target as a personal goal, but other than that it's a straight race between both teams and the one with the highest mileage at the end of the month wins.  The numbers are averaged out to make it a level playing field, so more members in your team doesn't guarantee a win.  What hopefully does guarantee a win is having YoungPup and Gaz on your team - impressive start, guys!
