Recovery day here today 6.4m nice and slow before it got too hot- more later after it cools down

Just realised- I've passed my monthly target of 350

Crickey Jason - you're putting us mere mortals to shame! I'm going to see how the heat is later on before deciding on my run -i may do some cross training on the bike instead.

Tempo run later, can't stand them at the best of times let alone in this weather.

got 10 miles in. Dropped lucky as waited until teatime and the temp dropped significantly.

5.57 and 6.42= 11.99= oops!

One more decent weekend boys and girls and we should be home. Keep it up!

I think that the Fetchies have had their month.... now it's time for RW to have some of the limelight!

I'll be heading out tomorrow for 20 miles and then i'll try to get out on sunday as well but i'll see how my legs hold up.

Rest day for me today I'm afraid....

Does anyone on here know if people like Minni, Shades, Fit-Running-Cat and Saffy are currently injured? Over the last few months they have all been fairly serious mileage monsters, and according to Hippo it might be that we could do with a boost?

7 recovery miles tonight. I've had a mild man-flu all week and I think it caught up with me today. Did the running at what should have been and nice and easy 9 m/m but felt knackered by the end!

Got to say- opening ceremony is fantastic so far

Bit of a disappointing tempo run this evening- was half expecting it as it's only 2 days since my massage and that always knocks any speed out of me, it was an undulating route and it was still very warm. Think those are all the excuses I've got  still 11.01 with 6m tempo effort  for 17.43 for the day

OK, fingers out, guys! Big blast to the end to take this to a deciding month. They're 25 miles in total behind at the moment, so an extra push now would be nice to see
