Warm one, 33 (possibly more but ddn't record distance ) and the usual in your face hill after hill after hill, until your too tired to run hills then you just have to get up smaller hills.

Just asking?

DE- well done

Weekly weigh in- minus 3.2lbs and minus 0.2% body fat sees me going sub 12st. Have to make sure I don't put it back on while away from home for the next few days....

Well dne DE and Jason!

Morning all,

I'm on holiday in Cornwall, so am not posting as much, but managed to get in a lovely 21 miles this morning, including 5 miles along the North Cornwall coastal path.

Good running by everyone

Well done YP and Emmy

16.04 nice and slow for me today

Nice running on here, DE, Jason, Emmy and YP. I managed a mere 12 miles this morning. Weather was warm but run was enjoyable and set me up nicely to settle down and watch the men's marathon. Quite a surprising winner!!

Juggler- nothing mere about 12m- well done. Yes, the marathon was a bit of a turn up....

Set my alarm for 5.15 to get the morning run done before catching the train to Windsor. Won't be posting or logging runs for a few days, but don't worry everyone, I'll be out there fitting the miles in somehow. Think I have to do Wednesday's 15 before checking out of the hotel....

Well done Jason, Juggler and YP! Great running!

I enjoyed the men's marathon yesterday - was really impressed by the speed of them!

Today is physio day so if I can manage a cheeky run there and back - i'll try to fit it in

Great 13 mile run yesterday and best ever 6 mile tempo run tonight. Will have to do more 3 day beer sessions
14/08/2012 at 08:55

3 miles last night to the physio and then 8.5 miles this morning.... my legs were killing me after the maulling they took in physio last night!

14/08/2012 at 09:13

Back to early morning runs today - just a short 3.5 miles this am. Hope to be back out again tomorrow for a bit of a longer one.

Were still leading, but I can tell that peoples hunger for the challenge across both sides is waning a bit as I'm back in top 10 atm - after 17th last month  or are a lot of people broken from their past two months endeavours?

15/08/2012 at 13:32

Now I bet your all out running big miles and not having time to post now I've said that

I managed 5.5 miles tonight. It was hot, humid and I managed to get lost whilst reading a map :/ Sometimes the streets in Frankfurt are very complicated!

Medal for you I think Emmy_bug, thinking of the cause whilst in - possibly hostile - foreign lands

I did something similar in Rome last year (so many streets) and out in the hills near Messina I had a right adventure in January, ending up plowing down a bank grasping bracken-type-stuff for grip and then running in a - thankfully empty - drainage channel to try and descend to where I needed to be.

Evening all Back from travels- enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by a day. Just added 54.83m from the holiday

17/08/2012 at 09:01

I did a slow 5.8 miles last night - always find running in the evening a lot more work than first thing in the morning. Already looking forward to tomorrow's early morning run.

CR- good man/woman I always find the opposite- the evening runs tend to be easier than the morning ones.

I haven't been out yet today- having a lazy morning- will make it up later- honest!
