My own club's race- St Clears hilly 10k for me (6th overall and 1st M40)  2m warm up and 9.6 (even hillier) miles afterwards before our club bbq. Should have been 10m to make up planned 18m miles for today, but change of plan called for due to a cricket match being played on the field I was due to finish on . 17.78m for the day

I make it that we're 72 miles behind....

Come on guys!!! We're so close! I've been out this morning

Bloody hell bug what you doing all the way up there? Get down before you do yourself a mischief.

Shes a handful always up to stuff!

We are only .51 of a mile behind.

If I had checked I would have gone round the block one more time!

Just logged my Meander marathon miles too.....

27/08/2012 at 11:56

Kate, AStephen, Emmy- well done all

I've been out for 6.4m this morning in typical bank holiday weather- similar later so not logged yet. I think some of the other lot are running mara+ runs today though....

Does somebody else want to chase up the guys who haven't logged recently this month?

27/08/2012 at 11:56

We're ahead

I've been trying to get hold of Shades - she ran an ultra this weekend but I don't think she has internet connection. Can anyone round up the troops?

27/08/2012 at 13:17

There is someone on our team call "Shades"?

Am i in a Spike Lee movie?

"Heh Shades yer moma called"

"Dont you be calling my moma"

"I aint calling her, she calling me"

"You calling my moma a ho?"

"Im just saying she be calling"

"must got the wrong number"

"Yeh her pimp cant afford no phone"

"you calling my moma a bad ho"

"just saying"

@stephen - sometimes I worry about your train of thought...

27/08/2012 at 14:56

Ever since the railways got privatised my train of thought has been a bit erratic and  unreliable. Best to book at least 2 weeks in advance if you want to guarantee anything approaching a normal service.

Don't think getting Shades on board is particularly effical- she hasn't been part of the team this month....

Beginning to wonder if VDR is a Fetch invention- no details, no forum activity, just a couple of short runs. Call me paranoid, but at least one of their number has suggested doing just that....But the, what would be the point....

Nearly forgot- 12.92m for me today

29/08/2012 at 10:52

Oh my gosh. Where have the Fetchies come from?!?

Total 3830.58 miles by 29 runners = 132.09 avg

Total 4458.12 miles by 36 runners = 123.84 avg

can we try and booster the ranks and message people who are lower?

I managed a sickly 6 miles this morning. It looks like the marathon from Saturday took more out of my legs than expected!

29/08/2012 at 10:54

I think the people to approach are: Clag, Celtic Runner, Small and VanDeRooster

29/08/2012 at 18:29

Emmy- messaged Clag and Small- can't message CR or VDR.

Just logged 20.53m for the day

Think some of the Fetchies ran big miles at the weekend- hoping that they are out of action for a few days as a result

Some of the Fetchies are up for September- how about us? I'll be tapering for the tail end of the month, but should be able to help the cause a bit

29/08/2012 at 21:03

I'll be aiming for 200 or perhaps slightly more for September, so I'm in.

29/08/2012 at 21:06

I've ditched Furman and trying to get some miles in my legs for Abo in October so I'm in.
