Afternoon all, apologies for being MIA for a while ... life and things .. you know how it is ... however September is now officially up and running and I have kick started us off with a nice 22 miler this morning !! (well actually it was anything less than nice if truth be known, but 22 miles none the less!!).

Well done both! Only got a 10 planned for later, so will last a while Lou.

In fact, not going to see the 400 mark this month cos I'll be tapering for the last 2 weeks of it....

10.28m logged. 22 planned for tomorrow

22.5 for me this morning in just over 3 hours, managed to get lost and was slowed down a bit by a some cross county (close to the Ridgeway), meant to be  a footpath across some field but was overgrown, so a few stings and cuts later I was back on track.  Low point of the morning seeing a dead cat, high point seeing a couple of deer.

Morning all.i managed 10 yesterday followed by 5 miles at tempo today. Felt nice to be out there but surprisingly warm!

Just over 4 recovery this afternoon, still a bit sweaty as nice and warm.

Hey Barry is that you bumping me down the list?

04/09/2012 at 00:34

Bruce, I've managed to make a bit of a cats backside out of my September runs already. My runs read 3, 20, 0 when they should read 20, 3, 10.5. Can you change them (not that switching the 3 and the 20 matters any) or would it be easier if I just added the 10.5 to another day?

Cheers

Gaz

11.38 for me today. Very pleasant run along the Brighton seafront

04/09/2012 at 21:04

14.3 tonight saw me slip into top spot.  I couldn't believe it!  I had to keep looking just to check.

....

Then I checked again and jason d has pushed me off.

Minni- sorry about that

Been slacking on the running a bit lately cos been really busy at work and also legs still feeling Sunday's LR. Slow 5m recovery run in the dark this morning Supposed to do 10m with intervals tonight but just an easy 5m instead cos legs felt really heavy. Still, keeping it for Sunday's race

04/09/2012 at 21:21

Its ok jason.    Is it your marathon on Sunday?

05/09/2012 at 07:31

5 miles easy for me last night with hubby. He's signed up for a 10km agility race so i'm helping him train (read:dragging him out on my midweek runs!).

How is everyone else doing?

05/09/2012 at 12:42

Not started this month, not ran since last Thursday (or very early Friday morning) during my go at the TDS. Should be making a start tonight or tomorrow, I should be taking it a bit easier with all my planned big runs for the year out of the way, but will probably have an enforced reduction in mileage due to a new arrival soon, so will make the most of free time until then A Hardmoors 60 entry - 29th Sept) seems imminent

Minni- thankfully not got my marathon for 5 weeks! Running Lake Vyrnwy Half this Sunday though as a tune up race- and hoping for a PB.....

5m am and 6.4ish pm

I've stopped lurking to join this, just as a reason to see how many miles I'm running a week, so I'm afraid I might be bringing your average down.

Also, evening hay fever this week is a killer :/

Jason d - and the current pb is....?  Good luck with it.
