26.2 logged for Team RW today. Now 5 weeks until my next marathon, I'm a bit lost but taking solace in a wine glass.

Kate- well done Enjoy the vino- was it a race today?

Barry- forgiven for yesterday Well done for today!

Emmy- are you ok? Or just not logging yet?

Race is a relative term Jason, it was an event but at 20 mins slower than last year I'm calling it training!

16/09/2012 at 21:14

Kate- great endurance work

17/09/2012 at 07:35

Hi Jason (and all). I am out there training but I just need to find the time at the computer with my garmin and the website! I'll do it today, promise!

I've suddenly jumped from last to 18th. It looks like the fetchies are still storming ahead

Just logged last 2 weeks worth.

Juggler, we should get Brol & Gazelle to log. Brol especially doing 80 mi a week...

FRC - Those miles have made a big difference  , closed the gap a lot overnight.

5m this morning, 13 this evening. Evening run a real slog- no pace, no energy- early night tonight

21/09/2012 at 12:10

Hope you've regained some energy JD, you do have a punishing training schedule. Obviously the training works, results speak for themselves, but make sure your getting enough rest days or at least enough sleep. I'd think without a rest day or so a week you've need 8 hours per night (assuming your not one who can get by on 4-5 hours everynight), with 10+ regularly too. I do a lot less distance and find after a few hard/consecutive days the 6-7hrs I get week nights barely cut it.

All fairly close now people are logged up to date. Go team RW!!

DE- Thanks- much better now! Think I was in need of carbs- ate a gallon of yoghurt yesterday after cravings and ran hilly 7 min miles effortlessly Got the fine balancing act of fuelling training and trying to lose last few pounds before racing wrong. Anyway- taper time and ONE run today!! 6.4m Hardly anymore morning runs for next 2 weeks, so plenty of time for sleep!

Mowzer- marathon distance run today- race? Well done

We've now got 1,2,3 on the leaderboard

Just the 10.xx for me today. Swansea 10k planned for tomorrow, but will add a few mile on either side

23/09/2012 at 07:08

that's 4 x marathons on the bounce, Mowzer...how many more are you doing this week?

23/09/2012 at 10:25

Good running team, going to be close with a week to go, nothing yesterday due to 400 miles round trip to Blackpool but just over 24 this morning.

Hi all, been a little under the weather so reduced the mileage this weekend. 10k ability race today and will try to add some miles either side
23/09/2012 at 12:35
Emmy - hope you feel better soon.

Mowzer - stunning mileage from you this week. Your legs must be made of iron to be able to do 4 marathons one after the other..... You're not called Eddy Izzard or John Bishop are you?

16+ miles for me today - done and dusted by 9.30am, so now me and the dog can lie on the sofa and sleep....

Looks like it might be close this month
