No more for me until tomorrow, finding my feet again post-TDS and the miles yesterday felt ok. And today is a non-running strength workout day (figure I need some as starting to look like the old Mr Muscle)

Great all terrain run today, zapped me, still got a lot of Alps in me legs obviously Will be a tortoise and hare month for me.
That would be a better description really. As tortoise a hare is wrong way round for my meaning when I think about it

More miles added yesterday when I ran part of the half mara course and some added today before, during and after the race. Not the place for discussing times, but suffice to say that the training paid off as I PBd the Half by nearly 5 minutes

Hi Barry - it was in Medoc in France. A great trail marathon and definitely one to do!
Emmy - Seen the race in RW, is it true there's wine at the drink stn's?
@Barry - there's not just "some" wine - you run through the wineyards and stop at every chateau! I drank at 20 wine stops but there were a few more that I missed. There was not just wine but oysters, steak, ice cream, ham sandwiches, cake, fruit - everything that you could ask for! It's an absolutely iconic race and it feels like a big party. You run from stop to stop and everyone is in fancy dress. It's absolutely fantastic.
a total of 6 miles for me today.I ended up cross training on the bike and headed to the gym for some relaxation.
