RW v Fetch June Running Challenge

5m this morning, 13 this evening. Evening run a real slog- no pace, no energy- early night tonight

Hope you've regained some energy JD, you do have a punishing training schedule. Obviously the training works, results speak for themselves, but make sure your getting enough rest days or at least enough sleep. I'd think without a rest day or so a week you've need 8 hours per night (assuming your not one who can get by on 4-5 hours everynight), with 10+ regularly too. I do a lot less distance and find after a few hard/consecutive days the 6-7hrs I get week nights barely cut it.

DE- Thanks- much better now! Think I was in need of carbs- ate a gallon of yoghurt yesterday after cravings and ran hilly 7 min miles effortlessly Got the fine balancing act of fuelling training and trying to lose last few pounds before racing wrong. Anyway- taper time and ONE run today!! 6.4m Hardly anymore morning runs for next 2 weeks, so plenty of time for sleep!

Good running team, going to be close with a week to go, nothing yesterday due to 400 miles round trip to Blackpool but just over 24 this morning.

Nice easy 5 today in the lovely Devon rain. Gradually getting back into it all...

Swansea Bay 10k for me today and a 50 sec PB- conditions were awful- howling gale and freezing cold- planned 10m afterwards cut short to just over 6, i'm afraid... 13.66m for the day

That was Great Barrow Challenge. Good event - 4 different multi-terrain marathons, really enjoyed it. No races now till Sunday .

I have only just discovered this thread and havenow updated my milage under livingunbound.  Its an extra 185 miles for RW.

Sorry not contributed much this month, prolonged recovery from TDS and never quite built to former weekly mileages before having a missed day through a tight chest and then into taper for last event of month. So hoping to add 50% or more to my monthly mileage at the weekend.

Though if were all logged uptodate I think Fetch are going to make it 3-1 no matter what we all do

Hi all - I've been ill the past week and it's really scuppered my mileage plans. I'm taking it easy to not risk any of the races coming up... so i'm really sorry that i'm not much help!
