I have been a bit lazy after Beachy - will be making a fresh start tomorrow. Not quite up to the standard of some of you but "every little helps".

It does CR, it's a challenge for all to help us get motivated and be a bit "friendly competitive".

Getting more miles  done on each run without knee complaints right now so should get a few dark evening miles in this week. My last target event of the year is an LDWA event which combines long, flat, ocasionally undulating trail sections with short, sharp hill climbs at start and finish. I've been more hill training this year so plan to spend the next month running more flat road and trail miles to try and boost my flat speed a bit. Whic should mean more miles in less time for me towards the challenge

Hi all

Haven't managed a run since a week ago Sunday. I ended October on 114 miles. I've got a stinking cold and sore throat, which  I've had for nearly a week now, it shows no signs of getting better so I'm off to the Dr's tomorrow morning. I hope to get sorted out ASAP so that I can get back to running, and I suppose back to work as well.

Nice easy 3 miles for me this evening. Shorts ditched for first time, bit chilly along the canal.

Depending how you read that, not suprised you were cold

I thougth the same thing DE!

JR make sure there are no police about if you are going to do that again

Finally got out this morning and it felt good (albeit a bit cold) to be back out running. Only 4.75 miles but looking to build back up fairly quickly, not that I'll get anywhere near the likes of DE or Jason D!

oh--err Can't seem to login on my usual link

Was in 2 minds about this month, as my next race isn't until Ferbraury, and that's only a half-mara, but then realised I'd need to start my plan fairly soon anyway. It won't be a high mileage plan, but it'll keep me running! (dv)

Did a nice 10 miler today, apart from the bit just over halfway, where I was completely in the dark and tripped over something. No real damage done, but was annoying at the time. Must remember to pick my feet up more!

JR- lol! Ticking over here and recovery from last months 2 maras seems to be going well.. Managed a 4m tempo run tonight with a couple of extra miles warm down.

Don't worry folks, still had the leopard print thong on  . Fairly quick 3 miles today (in shorts!)

Is anyone else unable to log in? I did 12 miles today, longest run in a while and I can't get onto the website.

Ye, Clag - not updated the calendar for 3-4 days   Not just a Fetch thing, then...

10/11/2012 at 22:28

ive got 30 miles + to log in ....and i caaaaaaaaaaant!

11/11/2012 at 10:57

Back up and running after 2 weeks out with a heavy cold but can't log my mileage as the database seems to be down.

11/11/2012 at 21:15

Wonder if its a particular browser that is causing issue. No problems here and on IE8.

11/11/2012 at 21:44
No problem logging in for me either....and if I'm honest I'm enjoying the fact that several of the high mileage monsters can't log their miles as I'm much closer to the top of the leaderboard than I normally would be

14.25 miles for me today, with 1800 ft of climb and descent... Is that worth extra?
12/11/2012 at 07:52

please excuse me - I m a fetchie. When I logged my miles yesterday for the week Thurs came up as 501 instead of 5.10 I cant edit it and dont know how. It was suggested that I run 495.9 miles today and not to log them but its wash day so I cant. Does any one have editting powers could the delete Thurs 8 nov for Lak?

12/11/2012 at 11:53

YP - I used to ask the same question in summer when i was training on hills every day and occasionally mountains, but nobody used to respond to that request (maybe scared by the figures), grrr I could have logged and extra 80k some months :S

12/11/2012 at 11:54

lk - somebody will turn up to correct I'm sure, has happened before

12/11/2012 at 12:07

Btw, even without the other 495m its not good news at mo as fetch have just streaked ahead

12/11/2012 at 12:35

DE thankyou for responding I hope someone can fix it. Its dark and grey drizzle here and I have already done my morining run the thought of 495 miles in this weather is a bit off putting!

Fetchies think its someone called BRUCE that can alter my wrong entry for Thurs 8 nov - fetchie LAK
