I've decided to play this month as well after taking a month off......  I just wish today was the end of the month as I'm currently 2nd......

Thought I would join back in again this month. I have the Druids 3 day ultra next weekend, so that should bump up the milage a bit!

Positive signs for team RW Good luck all!

6.1 slow miles for me this morning. Go RW! Cannot believe how much water is running down the lanes around here. One big downpour and it'll be a right mess.

12 and a bit miles for me this morning, in the pissing rain, with most of it being either up or down hill on trails that felt like river beds....

Meant to do 16 today, but got soooo cold and wet, I decided to cut it a bit short

Just the 10 for me today. Planned more, but legs said no and weather was vile- and I'm in recovery mode

I have been a bit lazy after Beachy - will be making a fresh start tomorrow. Not quite up to the standard of some of you but "every little helps".

It does CR, it's a challenge for all to help us get motivated and be a bit "friendly competitive".

Getting more miles  done on each run without knee complaints right now so should get a few dark evening miles in this week. My last target event of the year is an LDWA event which combines long, flat, ocasionally undulating trail sections with short, sharp hill climbs at start and finish. I've been more hill training this year so plan to spend the next month running more flat road and trail miles to try and boost my flat speed a bit. Whic should mean more miles in less time for me towards the challenge

Hi all

Haven't managed a run since a week ago Sunday. I ended October on 114 miles. I've got a stinking cold and sore throat, which  I've had for nearly a week now, it shows no signs of getting better so I'm off to the Dr's tomorrow morning. I hope to get sorted out ASAP so that I can get back to running, and I suppose back to work as well.

Nice easy 3 miles for me this evening. Shorts ditched for first time, bit chilly along the canal.

Depending how you read that, not suprised you were cold

I thougth the same thing DE!

JR make sure there are no police about if you are going to do that again

Finally got out this morning and it felt good (albeit a bit cold) to be back out running. Only 4.75 miles but looking to build back up fairly quickly, not that I'll get anywhere near the likes of DE or Jason D!

oh--err Can't seem to login on my usual link

Was in 2 minds about this month, as my next race isn't until Ferbraury, and that's only a half-mara, but then realised I'd need to start my plan fairly soon anyway. It won't be a high mileage plan, but it'll keep me running! (dv)

Did a nice 10 miler today, apart from the bit just over halfway, where I was completely in the dark and tripped over something. No real damage done, but was annoying at the time. Must remember to pick my feet up more!

JR- lol! Ticking over here and recovery from last months 2 maras seems to be going well.. Managed a 4m tempo run tonight with a couple of extra miles warm down.

Don't worry folks, still had the leopard print thong on  . Fairly quick 3 miles today (in shorts!)

Is anyone else unable to log in? I did 12 miles today, longest run in a while and I can't get onto the website.
