DE- no such thing as bad weather, just wrong clothing
Or soft runners
20/12/2012 at 16:56

Yep, realise I'm contradicting myself a bit as I went on about running in shorts etc... last week. Would just like to reinstate that I don't have the time to run tonight and it being bad weather just makes the loss a bit less felt (as I'd rather run in decent weather everytime). No softness creeping in here (honest)

DE- Ok then

Interesting day today for me.... 5.03m recovery run this morning. 5.49m recovery run this evening, followed by a 2.63m fancy dress run with club. I was the Spirit of Christmas yet To Come. Blooming hot running in a hooded cloak and a balaclava!

Hip Hip Hurray for Gaz...

Day off for me today, as I'm out for a boys festive lunch from midday today, and I was out last night for my work Christmas meal, and didn't feel like squeezing in a run this morning....

Parkrun tomorrow morning might be an interesting run - sweating alcohol is always pleasant

hmmmmm..I need to rally some troops..

Gaz!! Hi and welcome back, my man!

Are we still doing the cull for peeps who haven't logged any miles?

Not literally, of course!

Yep, but why are you dressed as a highwayman at christmas

Timely recruit, especially as the last person to join before (mid-month) hasn't logged a mile which is a tad suspicious

HI Jason, finally managed to put a few decent weeks together after Chester. I entered too may races in November and it knocked my mileage down a bit. Shouldn't complain though, I have new PBs at HM and 10K which nearly make up for the disapointing run at Chester marathon.

Hows your running been? Still banging out the miles I see!

5 slow miles to day, the epitome of a "recovery run" as the legs were a bit tender.

21/12/2012 at 16:17

5 easy miles for me today. Been very lazy lately but finished work for christmas now so set myself a challenge to run every day for the next 12.

21/12/2012 at 19:13

Gaz-Well done on the PBs! I took November pretty easy after Chester and Snowdon. Just starting to build again now- this week is the first of my 18 week plan for VLM

Just over 9 for me tonight. Last run in the dark for a few days with a bit of luck

Be careful JD, you may scare the local kids if you don your new running togs (cloak and mask) running in the daylight

A 6.6kg free range bronze turkey has just taken up residence in my fridge

Pork and beef for us this year JD

Nice easy 2 miles before breakfast this morning. The wife is NOT happy about me running every day over christmas. This surely has nothing to do with the fact she's currently injured? Nice slow 6 or 7 planned for the morning.

2 supermarkets taken on today and an oven cleaned! Nothing like a nice relaxing break from work!

Clairster- NOOOOO! to cleaning

YP- get lost more often

1.2lbs put on here in the last week of dining out and mince pies... 16.01m for me today followed by 0.43m warm down. Ok for a fat boy!
