Still worrying about the weight Jason?

Hi all

Have only managed 4 1/2 miles this month due to a recurring calf strain. Have physio on 3rd January so nothing more for me before then.

Santa is bringing me a Grid roller so hopefully I can use that to some effect before seeing the physio. Have a great Xmas all.

GFB- Hope the roller does the trick...

Bit of a damp start, but the first run of the day done and dusted: 6.5m recovery. Off to make turkey stock now.... before the next run! Trying to clear tomorrow's running commitments today

Good morning, RW types!  It's looking like a close finish as we finish 2012.  Best of luck, all - and big festivities all round

Swittle - same to you

Nice pic by the way - is that from an early morning run?

Spittle- Merry Christmas!

Stage 1 of Operation Trifle complete. Smell of cloves which are studded in the honey roast ham coming from the oven is making me feel very hungry! Off for run number two once ham comes out

Cheers, YP!  The pic is 12th century Sandal Castle near Wakefield at sunset - much of my earlier running was done there.

Good health to you too, jason - sounds like a culinary triumph in the offing

24/12/2012 at 12:57

Ham's done. So is second run 8.08m.  Lunch next, followed by stuffing making before next recovery run

Hooray!!! 4th run done and dusted. Xmas nearly ready- just sprouts left to peel. 4 runs today = 25.1m = rest day tomorrow without compromising weekly mileage MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!!!  Right, where's that bottle of red?

26/12/2012 at 21:38
Merry Christmas all

Jason - I'm forcing myself to stop drinking a very nice bottle of red (Fontodi) just so I can get out at 6.30am tomorrow for a 10-12 mile run....

To all RW team members - let's put in a big push now and finish the year off as WINNERS!...

Well done YP I am however hitting a very nice Xmas port

My legs rebelled at today's planned 13 m long run. Combo of the 4 runs Monday and zero yesterday! Gave into them and did 2 slow 6.5m runs instead. They thanked me by loosening up nicely
27/12/2012 at 08:18
10.14 miles done - in the pi$$ing rain so not much fun

May get out to do another 3 miles later with my son....
27/12/2012 at 10:39

I just did a 6.5m recovery run on the flat. Only to find car battery was dead and then ran a hilly 2.8m home....

27/12/2012 at 13:25

3 days off thanks to bug ....grrrrrr..... but a steady 5 this morning.... and I wasn't sick on the way round

4m to round off the day. Bought a medicine ball in the sales today and then found some exercises for core strength using it.... Boy, do I have some work to do....

27/12/2012 at 21:45

Running a bit curtailed this last five days, hope nobody minds, but became a dad (25th) so kind of busy with other things  Little Isaac heathly and happy
