RW v Fetch June Running Challenge

I have signed up too, not contributed much so far though!

What a difference a day makes!  After a fortnight of heat and humidity, tonight Matthew we had torrential rain and a chilly wind.  And even though I have no waterproof gear and was soaked to the skin before I'd got to the end of the road.... and even though the elastic at the top of my new arm-warmers has shredded my arms to a pulp....I'll take that weather over sunshine any day. 

Another 6 miles on the scoreboard - slower than slow, but my legs are gubbed!

If it wasn't for this Challenge, I would not have run this evening. But it wasn't too bad.The rain even eased off after a while. And I am pleased to have ran, and maybe will even run again in the rain!

So, come on.. why are we not winning yet?! I would like to do some extra miles but I am tapering for the weekend so they will have to wait a bit!

I'm getting there... went out for a 5 miler yesterday and am hoping to do an 8 miler tomorrow morning if I can manage to get up in time!

Been a bit slack this weekend. Parties and beer got in the way. Feeling guilty now so I will go out later and put on some mileage.

doing a leg of the real relay tomorrow morning so can log some them, but we do seem to be getting our collective backsides spanked at the moment !

I reckon its going to be a tortoise \ hare thing and we'll come good at the end!!

Bit late putting my miles in for the month, had a good start though and I'll make extra effort this month for the RW cause. Will galvanise me to do the miles I need to do anyway
