First recovery run of the day done
03/01/2013 at 14:52

I've just done a slow 5.6m recovery run, and unfortunately my mileage this week is going to be a bit lower than normal as I'm taking a cut-back week after 6 weeks of constant 45-50m per week.

My legs have been feeling increasingly achy, so I'm hoping that a week taking it easy and reducing the mileage down to around 35 miles will sort me out, and allow me to get stuck in to some proper marathon training...

03/01/2013 at 16:28
YP- cut back weeks are a necessary part of pursuing high mileage IMHO
2nd run done here. Around 13m in total.

Hi all,

I'm back in the game after a couple of months lowish mileage due to Abingdon(Oct) and Florence(Nov)Maras.  VLM training started last Monday.

Welcome back, Barry
Fab effort so far, team! We have one less runner, but we're still 32m ahead
03/01/2013 at 21:27

Hi folks

Hope its okay to rejoin after a very quiet running December for me (Very busy with my course instead!!) Not that I'm in your league anyway, as I'm not specifically marathon training at the moment. Beginning to get twitchy though. Just wondering about Richmond Park in May ....

Oh and Well done to you guys for December!!!

p.s. Belated Happy New Year to you all

03/01/2013 at 21:29

p.s. I know it won't last, but I've never been 4th in the list before!

Just had to record that for posterity

03/01/2013 at 21:51
Welcome back Juggler - who says it won't last? You've I proved our average so far....
Equal number of runners and 40 m ahead
03/01/2013 at 23:02

I've manged 1st for a while a few times, usually near the start of the month when Jason has forgotten to log his runs for a couple of days.

04/01/2013 at 10:54

GazOC, I think first would be a bit much for me. Maybe if I reserve my long run for the 1st day of the month and do my previous day's run just after midnight, I might then make it for 24 hours(!)

p.s. Logged my 3.1 miles for today and moved up to 3rd. Defnitely had to log that one for posterity!!

04/01/2013 at 14:35

Hi everyone, first run of the year done, here's to winning start for RW

04/01/2013 at 15:05

Thats not a bad idea Juggler. Get in first, take a quick screenshot and relax for the rest of the month.

04/01/2013 at 16:58

Gaz and Juggler- lol! Good team effort going on at the moment, guys

12.01m MLR for me today, followed by 1.16m warm down
