Gary- like Gaz says, take it easy- but well done
Gaz- Every Little Helps
2 recovery runs for me for 13.13m
thought you must be injured YP, hope you get sorted soon. rest day for me today, going to battle this week to get the millage in, new kitchen going in this weekend so loads of sanding and painting to be done
Jason, good positive vibe that!
YP, take it easy for now. You know it's best, altho' we all sympathise with the feelings of frustration
Barry, sounds like a good weekend
Gary and Gaz, good steady work!
S3200H Good luck with the sanding and painting!
Just 3 and 7 for me yesterday and today. Finding it difficult to fit the time in, but the hot bath at the weekend seems to have helped the recovery, and I had no reaction from the previous injury (which does sometimes play up in the cold weather!)
Good running folks
After this morning's aborted effort, icy roads and darkness tonight saw me juggling my sessions and turning to the joys of running 15m on the track... A bit slippery, but at least it was free of frozen puddles and floodlit. Pleased with the run cos it felt really comfortable- just as well as I had to turn the brain off and get into a rhythm to keep my sanity while going round and round and round....15.01m followed by 0.52m warm down
Excellent effort Jason Not sure i could have done that, even if it wasn't freezing cold!!!
Two early morning runs this week and my motivation is back on track. Bit chilly but soon warmed up. Good running all
today - 3.07
Morning all. Half way to my monthly projected miles of 120
Keep on running!
15.15m for the day- including a tempo run
A chilly 4.64 miles for me at lunchtime, I really like cold crisp days.
Another "double": 3 in the morning, 7 in the evening Likely to be much quieter over the next few days tho, very little running time available, so will probably have to forego the long run for this week. Still, as snow is forecast, perhaps it's just as well that it's this weekend.
Well done on the halfway mark Grant.
JR, good to hear the motivation is back. I always think it's a nice feeling when you start to want to get out again after a period of simply dragging yourself out cos you should ...
And good running Gary and Jason.
I'm still a little behind schedule but with my mojo well and truly back i'm hopeful of hitting my modest target of 60 miles for January. No way i was venturing out at 5am this morning, far too dangerous but once I finished work, I tiptoed up to the canal tow path and had an easy 3 miles. Not that the freezing cold, wet conditions made it easy but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Looking forward to a nice slow 10k or so Sunday morning
Just 3 today. The snow is pretty thick on the ground. Looks like I'm tapering for Sundays Half Marathon whether I like it or not!
Just 6 for me today. Jog down and to the gym and back, just over 5miles on the TM, good for keeping the pace up, but toooooo boring to carry on for longer. Take care in the snow
No internet connection yesterday, but managed to run! Best of both worlds- made a big snowman in my garden with my boy, then discovered that only 2 miles away the roads were snow free! 14m followed by 1m warm down
5 snowy miles for me yesterday, but a but slippy underfoot today so 18 on the tready.
18 on the dreadmill is great commitment, Barry
2 runs for 14.6m for me today.
It's getting close, guys- keep it going! Don't want to find myself on the losing team on a 400m month
Wow! This is close. I logged my 6.3 from yesterday and that moved team RW from just behind to just ahead of the Fetchies But I'm sure there are unlogged miles on both sides.
Unfortunately, I won't get a run in today. By the time I've finished lesson prep, the gym will be closed, and the roads are just a bit too icy round here after dark!
Enjoy your running guys, all still to play for!
Waves to all
It has got a lot closer in the last few days, Juggler....
20m long run followed by 1.33m warm down to take me to over 300m for January
