Hi Minni, those miles made a big difference.

11 for me today that takes me over 300 miles for the month. Very happy with the total as January includes recovering from a marathon on New Years Eve and a mini taper for the cancelled Helsby Half.

Great running everyone

I'm being super sensible and slowly building back up, which seems to be working as my last 3 runs have been pretty close to pain free, with no after effects on my calf.

Last week was a 25mile week, this week will hopefully be 35+, and if that all goes smoothly, then I'll be back to normal training, and ready to start the 12 week P&D 55-70 schedule in prep for Milton Keynes.....

Small world S3200H. Some nice running around lodgemoor, redmires and rivelin. I was brought up in Walkley and spent many days in the Rivelin Valley!

Jason - 5 miles around a muddy football pitch in the dark? Screw that - your insane! I'm also doing London and looking to get close to 2:30. Had 2:38 in Amsterdam that was very windy this year and 2:39 in London last year that included a 3 minute stop for blister treatment - so frustrating!

Just done 14 from Kings Cross to Brent Cross to Victoria ad maybe some intervals at track tonight if I get home in time.

Fingers crossed that the traffic is kind

Some good mileage going on. I'm afraid I won't be much help for the rest of the month as I am supposed to be tapering for the Thames Trot 50 on Saturday, though at least that will be a good start to February!

Had to juggle my schedule a bit after Sunday's enforced club race- still feeling it in achilles and calves. So just the 2 recovery jogs today for 11.87m- back to it tomorrow

6.5 miles = insaner

Traffic was awful so no track tonight. Gym in the morning and 8 miles in the afternoon.

10x1k on the treadmill Thursday - I hate Thursdays!

Overnight double for me gives me 17 miles to finish the month off, pulling away nicely from the Fetchies.

6.5xm recovery, 15m ML run, 1m warm down total: 22.55

Just for MC Dave (and because my achilles were sore after Sunday's thrashing) I did the 15m and the warm down on the TRACK

Ended the month quietly herewith a couple of sloooow recovery runs

So that's me finished on 454.42m for the month. Nearly 50m down on last year, but quite a bit quicker- not training for an ultra this year!

I agree Jason there are too many ways to spoil this game. There is however a RW forumite called "jasonisme" so it would be worth emailing him to see if he has joined the game without realising the effect he has just had...it's too much of a coincidence, surely?

I mean, if someone on the Fetch side wants to doctor the results, it would take a huge leap in imagination to think of a name that (a) exists on RW and (b) is aimed at you.

If it turns out that it is a Fetch "joke" I apologise. You can get Bruce to delete it (and get him to log his miles, as I suspect he's run something since Jan 1).

I'll be honest guys, that's the second time that someone has logged a very suspicious looking RW runner. Teknik, you may well be right, but I'm with Jason on this one. It's a shame, cos I've really enjoyed the forum and the friendly rivalry, even when we were getting regularly beaten. But enough of the negative.
