Well done Gaz. Superb time!
I'm having a very low mileage month and plenty of work to catch up with, so decided not to join the list this month, but hope to be back to normal next month.
Super racing Gaz, well done
13.10m today takes me from 31st to 28th
Jason, I bet you didn't know those places existed!!
Cheers Guys, I've messed up a couple of 10Ks going out too fast trying to run Sub 40 mins when I was realitically only in shape to do 41 mins and blowing up at mile 4. Now I've cracked 40 I can hopefully settle down a bit and run the distance a bit more sensibly in future.
8m today= 25th. Lots due tomorrow
6 today and it took me 2 runs!! Hopfully 20 tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.
Recovery am and MLR pm= 21.52m which moves me from 26th to 18th
15 today, couldn't manage the 20 as my legs had other ideas. Will try again tomorrow but wouldn't be surprised if that run gets knocked on the head around 14-16 miles as well.
2 runs for 13.06m today. Moves me from 20th to 14th
Got the 20 done but the last couple of miles wern't pretty. Going to have a couple of easy days ahead of Sundays Wrexham Half Marathon.
Tough run! Good luck.
recovery am and MLR pm= 21.04m for the day. From 14th to 10th
Gaz - Good effort on the 10K, I was there a couple of years ago but last couple of efforts have been just over.
Jason - Climbing the table nicely.
Apologies not logged much this week. Ran Wokingham HM last Sunday and went well but calf felt sore on the Monday, did 8 miles Tues but calf not right. Managed to see my physio wednesday who sorted out a knot of muscle in my right calf, recommended no running for a couple of days and I can still feel it when I'm walking so bigger picture and all that am going to try and keep my sensible head on and recover properly. Hopefully be back on it next week.
Barry- Has he given you some stretches to do as well? Not sure about the no running- is it bruised as a result of the treatment? Hope you recover soon anyhow...
Good luck with the calf Barry.
I'm still here guys!
Moving up the table nicely now Jason - keep it going mate.
Well done on the sub 40 Gaz. It's great when you break a milestone.
I had 4 days off as a result of travelling to Aberdeen to watch Scotland play. It resulted in being awake for 24 hours and I didn't have the energy to run for 3 days after but getting back to normal now. Managed a triple session on Thursday though (Valentines) The wife was pleased - not!
