I think you can rack them up as as the start of this months miles.
Thanks Jason. Turned my ankle stepping off a kerb. Ankle is fine but tweaked a hamstring muscle which is quite painful at the minute. Keeping fingers crossed as I was going well.
The challenge is ready for March - thanks Bruce !
I have interrogated my children and it would appear that my youngest child thought it unfair that daddy loses every month. He thought it only fair that I won for a change
Although disappointed that I haven't won the February challenge he is very pleased to hear i'm in the top ten for March already, although unaware that only nine people have posted a run...
Aw!!! Thats cute!
First 70m for March logged
Ha ha - I wish my kids would fix my runs for me.
Injury scare is over after a couple of days rest. Managed 10km on the treadmill this morning after initially just going on for a 5 minute 'stretch' and there was ne real grumble from the hamstring. Just goes to show what is possible if you rest and work really hard with your treatment. Hoping for 12 tonight and then back on with the plan for London. Really didn't want to miss a chunk at this vital stage
Hi, going to start logging again this month, restablished some kind of normality to my running following christmas days arrival And back up for some long run action this month!
De- welcome back, Daddy!
MC Dave- good news!
Supposed to do 15 today, but legs still tired from Sunday's half, so listened to body and stuck to 12
Retford half on Sunday and in need of a good result after a por week of running for me. Anyone else racing?
First ton up of the month
Well done Jason. Good luck at Retford Dave, I've got Stafford 20 miler on Sunday. going to run it hard and see exactly where I am in preparation for Manchester marathon at the end of next month, hoping for under 2:20 on a hilly course will translate to 3:05 ish at Manchester.
Hip flexor a little sore this week (put my laces through one too many footballs last week, when will i learn???) Nice easy 5.23 miles this morning
JR- rest up, mate...
tempo effort trail parkrun this morning and an easy pace 10ish this evening. 13.40 for the day
Dave- best of luck- and anyone else racing. 24m LR planned for here tomorrow
1:14:24 and 3rd place wasn't bad. Snow and wind made it less than fun. At least I won my age group and added a 7 miler on the end albeit a 7 min/mile pace
MC Dave- awesome result!!!! Well done
24.27m for me today
Bloody hell Dave, thats a great result. And heres me happy with 2:19 at Stafford 20 miler today!!
The weather WAS a bit grim wasn't it??
