Fab track session tonight! I have got a Facebook group together to help with motivation for speedwork and we had a brutal one tonight! 5 sets of 5x300mtr @ 5K pace with 100mtr jog recovery and 5 min recovery run between each set. Surprised at the end to find total mileage was almost 10m! With my morning recovery run, brings the day up to a respectable 15.54 and legs feeling good again! Hooray!
All good JD....
...and JR, great target busting
I've had an easy week, off for a little trail run tomorrow evening
DE- enjoy the run
11.65 today- top of the tree
Well done Jason, top man (and top person..)
Nice easy 2.21 miles tonight. Park Run Saturday morning....first timer!
Just stopped in to offer my apologies for another rather dire mileage month! I ran a marathon in April and feel I've been struggling to recover. Went to the doctor last week thinking it was all in my head, but no - my iron level is 'in your boots' and my haemoglobin's way down too which explains the continued muscular fatigue.
All being well my energy levels should start to improve soon as I've been given iron supplements with a review in 3 months. Fingers crossed that's all it needs!
Hope ya recover soon clag, I got into habit of taking a multi-vit with iron and a omega-3 tablet every morning also a borroca and really feel the benefit plus the borroca a life saver after a skin full
Clag- hope you recover soon
umm, we seem to be getting a large can of Whoop Ass opened on us at the moment, guys!
