I've been letting the side down by not running for a week. I blame this entirely on illness, work and storms but at least I made the effort and went out today, albeit for a short run.
a rather warm 5 miles (8 ks) on the treadmill whish the aircon would cover the treadmill in the Gym I was sweating somewhat...
Couldn't get on the forum last night, can't imagine why.
12.21 m yesterday.
Rest today, then back again tomorrow. I'm following a training plan, so can't add too many miles as it will b*gger me up, but when I can, I do.

Bruce its being silly and refusing to let me in again, account name is bagpuss but it also uses my name here if that helps.
In practice there should be two accounts as i tried registering again but it didn't work. The one i wish to keep has a couple of runs from last weekend but i can easily start with a new one again.
Thought it was about mean mileage, Jeepers....
I am registered to both sites but log my running on Fetch so have joined the 'dark side'. Nice challange
First below par long run for awhile, just feeling nothing in legs from first hill. I stuck it out for 18.9 and it was worth it as I discovered some new and exciting dale paths (trods may be more accurate) to run. Need to get back 'right', some big weekends coming up.
A fab 10 miles for me today
Well a race has helped my mileage... A couple of days recovery running for me then hopefully some steady mileage for the rest of the month. Lets start closing them down and make a challenge of this
5 slow miles yesterday and 10k in the Liverpool tunnel race today. Hopefully I'll be OK for a long run tomorrow but I'm not banking on it!
Feeling guilty after 6 days off (I blame the Jubilee weekend and then half term), so 4 very soggy miles this morning as a penance.
I noticed that we were a little behind yesterday. I will aim to get out there for a full training week (despite travelling).
3.65 hilly miles done and before the rain started, yay!
I can't believe I've managed to sneak into the top 10 - I've never been top 10 in anything!! Legs are a bit sore after the weekend's exploits though, so I think today will have to be a rest day
*Frodo* - You have definitely earned your rest day The course certainly gave me a bit of a kicking so spending a couple of days just doing recovery runs until my quads stop hurting when I look at any form of gradient!
Well done both of you for Saturday! I was out on the course getting marshalls in place between 22 miles and the finish. Major respect, it's not a race I will be partaking in ever!
