Well done both of you for Saturday! I was out on the course getting marshalls in place between 22 miles and the finish. Major respect, it's not a race I will be partaking in ever!

Sideways rain that you can't see through with thunder and lightning here now!

Thanks for helping out small, it is good to see so many volunteers at a race. We did ok with the weather I think

I was a bit soggy, but rather that than the gales of the previous few days! I can't believe how lovely all the supporters and marshals were - it was a grand day out

Do you have an eye on top spot next year, WiB?

That would be nice Frodo and will certainly give it a shot if I can get down to the race next year... not that I didn't try this time around the other 2 were just too fast for me at the end.

Impressive mileage yesterday, you two - .

for marshalling, small.  Races couldn't be put on without marshalls.

3.21 wet miles this am.

I am mustering up another 6 recovery miles today... My legs are still pretty sore from the weekend but if I feel like one or 2 more I will put them in for the sake of Team RW if nothing else

If everyone tags 1 mile onto tonights run it would help a bit?!

kittenkat - definitely double points for you too then

guys, another apology here, haven't run since thursday, put back on track yesterday for 5, and now starting Chester training so hopefully mileage will head in the right direction from tomorrow onwards

Can we make some kind of effort to contact the non-posters who registered too? The 0 miles are really dragging down our average

I don't know about mustering, WiB - more like dragging myself through a wall of ache, here! But I know the slow miles are really helping; they are definitely recovering, each day a little less sore

*Frodo* - The course certainly beat me up a bit! The slow runs are helping though like you say.
