Hi everyone need someone who knows how to work out exact times through pace or speed!!

Tuesday I ran 10.14km in a duration of 49.26 minutes, Pace at an average of 4.52min/km with a max of 2.42min/km. Also my speed was an average of 12.31km/h with a max of 22.13km/h.

Today I attempted my second run and did the following: 10.02km in a duration of 48.01 with an average pace of 4.47min/km and a max pace of 2.34min/km, my speed average was 12.52km/h with a max speed of 23.29km/h

I would appreciate peoples help in breaking these two times down to 10km so I can see improvement more accurately!? Please help!! Thanks

Over 10k you were 50 seconds faster.

Your pace was 5 seconds per KM faster. Intermanaut knows is 10 times table

Incidentally, ignore whatever your Garmin (?) is telling you about maximum speed/fastest pace.  The averages, or splits over a km, are reliable but the peaks are (in my experience) highly inaccurate.

PhilPub, I got a spike during my 800 reps today, and for one nanosecond I was David Rudisha. Please don't take that away from me

If I want an ego boost I just believe what the Garmin tells me about the whole session.  It seem to think the track is about 440 metres round.
