Keeping our group together
Well 10 miles for me yesterday as it was hot i broke it down into two 5 mile loops stopping in the house for a cold drink between the 2 loops have to say the heats playing havoc with my speed i was nearly 10 minutes slower today than a couple of weeks ago
well no run for me yesterday so must get out to day for one just 5 miles to do then a recovery run on the treadmill Thursday using a run walk will miss my long run this week as were of up to Leicester to see Snowmaiden and help her move into her new home
Only two runs for me since I last posted......Saturday, 6.01 miles in 49:57 (ave 8:14) and 4.01 miles last night in 32:43 (ave 8:09). I can certainly feel the heat out there, although my pace is not showing it (probably just glad to get round asap!).
I'm looking to run the next two evenings as well. Nothing too challenging, just looking to get some shorter runs in while this heat lasts.
Have a good day everyone!
Morning all......Well I have managed to get out the last two evenings again, and as you will all know, it was hot. 4.09 miles on Wednesday in 33:26 (ave 8:10) and 5.20 miles last night, trail running through the local woods, in 44:42 (ave 8:36). Off camping in Dorset this weekend, so I'll try and get a run in early tomorrow morning.

Back out poinding the streets tonight and I'm still on target for 750 miles this year. Trying to geta bit of a buffer behind me as I'm going to Crete in September and son't expect to be running then, but you never know.

Well 10 mile for me yesterday and no it was no cooler after the thunder storm i must say it felt like a struggle and i was expecting the splits to be poor but i have just down loaded them and to my surprise all but two were in the 8’s
I t took me 1:30:35 not the quickest by a long stretch in fact it’s just over 6 minutes slower than it was 6 weeks ago but comparing it to week 12 training for the GNR which is what i trained for this time last year I’m well over 10 minutes quicker
Morning everyone...... I still don't know how you manage everything Nessie, but well done!
5 miles for me last night and it did feel hard. Really didn't have much in my legs, I guess it must just be the heat. Ran it in 42:56 (ave 8:34). Looking to run a shorter one tonight.
Morning all......Well, two runs since I last posted, 2.43 miles on wednesday in 20:02 (ave 8:15). A recovery run that turned into a rempo one and last night 4.67 miles in 38:46 (ave 8:18). I think I really need to reel my pace in a bit as I do get a bit carried away Anyway, a rest day today before my planned 6 miler for tomorrow. My new 30 day challenge starts on Monday as well.
Have a good weekend everyone, whatever you get up to
