If you've any clean decent t-shirts you don't want, I know lots of you will, how about making a few gowns for the Blue Peter appeal.
I's about saving the Smile charity £3 a gown to enable lots more cleft lip ops to take place, I had a good old cry watching BP last night (I am a soppy cow anyway, but that's beside the point) seeing how children's lifes are transformed after these often short (a mere 45 minutes) operations.
You know you've got tons of race t-shirts stuck in a drawer, have a look a the BP site at what to do, it's pretty simple. OK you might not want to decorate them but I'm sure that doesn't matter!
